yes this is another topic about rares
i don't ask you to higher the drop rate but hopefully you do something for the ppl that don't have that much time or luck.
i sometimes search for hours and hours and then when i don't have time to play for like a day someone finds it and i can start all over again. this happend multiple times for me and now i'm kinda tired of it.
my suggestion is you have to beat something really hard to get the rare you want. you need a ship of the same system to be able to get a rare from that system.so it takes skill to get it not "luck".
oh and pls don't ignore this!

if ur not lvl 60+ yet i think its better to leave the rares till ur that rank.... becouse when u have the highest ship ingame rares in lower systems are soooooo easy.... well at least for me. only need gemini aggrobeacon and 8 sol rares to have them all ! lol ^^ ^^

i'm lvl 64 but i just use this name to post here
and it's not the lower systems i'm complaining about
there i have 1 shot kills so no problem but the high systems it takes effort and doesn't go that fast
so when someone else gets a rare you want your pretty pissed off.

I feel that too. I have been looking for Sol Resurrect for 2 weeks, each day 7-8 hours a day WITHOUT ANY break and i still havent found it. I heard hard work is COMPLETELY USELESS, it just drops with luck, and i really dont like this. And 1 thing, all the people who are going to say the common " Rares are rare, what do you expect" please just dont post it.

you can make seperate planets to get them and different rooms. (there are still couple unused sol planets)
like you have to kill a very hard boss wich is nearly impossible. ( i repeat nearly impossible)
and you can only land with 5 ppl in squad max. and the boss's strenght is based on the total lvl players and weapons. this will help ppl that don't have that much time so they can make time to give it a shot. ok, if you don't get it it's your own fault and then you don't have to complain but the way it is now is just stupid and for ppl with a lot of luck or just no life (no offence).

and every time the planet creates another instance like now with the planet when there are more then 50 players on it. just now every time another squad or solo gives it a shot.

the abs are the easiest to get rares and i'm not talking about disable the luck just add an other way to get the rares.

I am very lucky and rares drop all day for me except 3 rares. Vega stun charge, MMB(first time) and Sol Attack droid. I searched 2 weeks for vega stun charge, found 21 vega protect and 14 anin x tank before it dropped. And first time I searched mmb I went from rank29 to 50 before I found it. Sol attack droid left me with a 3 and a half month search, until Oldviking suddenly dropped it when we were in squad. So some rares might take more than a few hours to get, its all about being patient.

Too right Razz. I have found random rares when I have not been looking, but when I do look, they take weeks sometimes. I have been searching for the Sol Aggrobomb for 3 weeks before I got it just 2 days ago. I have also been searching for the Sol Shield for nearly 4 weeks, and still haven't got it.
Razzorkill has become famous in our clan as the one who seems to have all the luck, so I have seen several players asking him to help them out.

The only option is patience, I spend about 1-2 hours hunting rares, then do cq's when I can, then go for xp, and cryonite, then if I have time, go back to rare hunting, or helping other clan members.

There is still many rares I need in the lower systems for my cq ships, but I am being held up hunting for rares in Sol so that the lower system rares take a back seat. This is because I want a ship with all it's rares to be ready for the Draconis system, and I get a feeling that time is running out. ^^

Yup, I got Mizar Collecter while testing my MST X, and gemini ressurect just by firing a rocket into a ds on Prosperous. So maybe i should stop convincing mysef that i need MMB...

I think i am in top kill ds. From lvl 63/64 (if i am not wrong) i start to kill ds on top of mountain and now i am 68 so i killed lots of ds and no ressurector droped any rare yet.

you guys might be lucky but there are a lot of players who aren't. and why should there be 1 way of getting rares. it doesn't have to be easier to get them this way. just not luck based anymore because a lot of players don't have it.

btw i am patience just don't have the time.

You don't NEED rares, so maybe the problem isn't with the game, it's with you. If you don't have the time, don't look for rares. Rares are not essential for game player, they are just 15% (or so I read) above the top normal blueprint, which is not nearly enough to ruin your short amount of gaming time you do have. I say again, rares are rares, if you don't like looking for them, don't. Feel free to continue your playing experience rare free and enjoy the rares you collect upon the way.

If you object to this, your argument will likely consist of: Mememe, gimmegimmegimme, freefreefree, nownownow....

On a side note, I would call this a rant, and thus locate it in the rants section.

i'm not planning on grinding my off again to get another ship. for the sniper ship you neeed rares
i searched a couple and not planning on getting another ship now i put that much effort in the ship i have now

I do wonder if having membership increases the drop rate of rares, actually all BPs.

If I am hunting on my own I am lucky to see a bp, yet if I am in a squad with other members of my clan some who have membership the screen is littered with blue bps and even get an occasional gold.

Its is luck to get a rare and nothing more, I might once I am rank 60 go back and collect all BPs and try to get the rares as well.

It is called a rare for a reason.

No luck or time, no looking for rares. Pretty simple. But as someone else has already said, they are only essential for the people with OCD's (Obsessive Completion Disorder, not the other one lol).

Yes I did read all the posts and just because you have said that you do not want something said doesn't make it any less true.

Rares are rare, sometimes normal BPs seem rare.

just another way to get rares. it doesn't have to be easier. why are you ppl against it?
it's not getting easier. you can try beating that thing once a day but it isn't sure you get it.
and this game isn't only for no lifes.

i have a sniper ship so why would i put more effort in getting another ship just because i have no time NOW.
if your lucky or no life then leave it posting something here because we know how you guys think about something new for rares.
