pvp rules

Hi, im waboe
play in askone server..
i saw that there is a new Coc rule for the vega pvps.
but why not put it that way for every system.. i mean in vega yes your new but in antares your still very low and people wil stil pod you from higher systems( mizar etc) so why not put the rule that only pvps available for the same ships and tech in every system??

The point of the Vega rules is to prevent new players to be killed by stronger and more experienced players. It is done so, because most of the beginners are not aware of the dangers that Pirate Mode poses. In Antares and higher systems however, players do generally know what happens when you enter Pirate Mode, because they have been playing for longer, therefore this rule is not necessary. Besides, most of us do not want PvP to be restricted to this extend.

Again, the purpose of these rules is not to protect weaker players from stronger players, but to make sure that beginners who have just joined the game are not annoyed and leave the game because of a problem that can simply be solved by not turning PM on.
