What he means is the following: due to the armour changes, repair droids have far less effect on any of the ships than they did before.
Basically, this change has left some parts of the game impossible to play, unless you gather an army or... buy lots of boosters.
Otherwise, you won't survive or it will take ages to level.
The Sol Super Repair Droid used to be able to repair a R60 ship 100%. Now, it manages 40% at best, for what seems to be the same cost in e ànd cry to install. You're now paying about 10k cry, for a part that is close to worthless even though it's supposed to be the best part of that system.
I have absolutely no idea why it was necessary to mess around with the ships' armours and HP levels. And even if it were, what made developers think updating the repair droids accordingly was NOT necessary?
We are now facing a situating, where for example players below R60 will have a VERY hard time in Sol, to achieve R60. For they are limited to their R45 ship and the highest level they can get on Mars is 58. In order to reach 60, they hàve to face the Mantis on Moon, but with a worthless repair droid, any Mantis crowds are deadly to a R45 ship, even the level 52s.
I've seen several changes made to the game, which were unnecessary and ended up making matters worse. But this surely beats everything. It makes even player versus AI playing totally impossible in certain situations. Even putting in ship restrictions on the optional white missions didn't have such a tremendous impact, because those aren't essential to playing and finishing the game.
If anyone thinks this is going to make more players buy boosters because that's the only thing which can keep them alive; I can safely say they'd MUCH sooner just quit the game and find some other MMO. For this one will have seized to be entertainment; it's rather become a frustration.

Hello Split Screen Studios.
I have been a member of Pirate Galaxy for a long time. I have been a member of PG for almost 1 and a half years.
I am not so impressed with he upgrades/updates.
Firstly, YOUR boosters are making sure, you get all the money, and we don't get stuff thats worth that money.
Also, I am not impresed with the upgrades!
It is ridiclious!

I have more, but I am not going to waste my time.
It's more like your trying to downgrade us!
And a few members are protesting, like me, and are saying " This Game Stinks!" And are threatening to leave the game if you do not do somthing about it.

yes i completely agree. also making the mantis able to GO OVER WALLS to get to us is completely ridiculous! i want the old armor system and attack range/weapons power of the mantis set back to the way it was. I know quite a few people who are talking about leaving the game because of this. This ALWAYS seems to happen with game developers, good or bad, they take a perfectly good game and ruin it with "improvements". I can't hardly leave the landing zone on mars now without dieing! and making the repair droids LESS effective does not help at all! as the title says, PUT IT BACK!
if you're going to make the repair droids half as effective then i demand that i get half the cry back that i paid for the AM Materializing Repair Droid that i have installed currently, because it's no longer worth 2.9k.

In one days time this game has gone from being a source of enjoyment to being aggravating. I can say wholeheartedly, and without doubt that if the game stays this way I WILL NOT be renewing my membership. The great game you had is no more at the moment and what you have now isn't worth paying for.
