Sure it is, I am more curious as to why you have a problem with this? I dislike "Oh, well, let me kiss your butt while I answer the stupid question in a nice manner so you aren't angry and go piss your parents off" and more "That's a dumb question, seriously". People need honesty. I wouldn't consider it rude, just a bit cranky.

But I agree it makes things more interesting to read then have the same old answer... Even to a paying customer, having a laugh once in a while is fine.
