Portal closed : Kalicanthus?

I have a question about this, i have been willing to ask for a long time.

Is the Portal kalicanthus closed? I have heard from a couple of SGMs and GMs in chat on the game saying that it is closed. Well my question is, if it is closed.. why does split screen have it as an option under the portal selection? And i have tried to get my account back from the closure...Name DarkestDayPirate, i have been playing for years and this tragic has happened.

If GMs say "it is closed" then they are giving a very short version (which is just half the truth), because Kalicanthus still exists. But it only support italian players/games as it moved to italy. So also the work together with Splitscreen got canceled.

Unfurtunatelly therefore you have to start a new account via Splitscreen as Split can't transfer your account.
