Through the years that PG has been active it underwent many patches, some for the better, but also those that many people agree on. My idea is fairly simple.
What I suggest is that before you (SplitScreen) release any major patches into the game, set up a poll on the forums and in-game (if possible) to see if people agree with this new update or not. This way, there would likely be less complaints since players would of voted before the release of a major update.
If the majority of players vote YES on the new major update, then the update should be implemented into game as normal. But if majority vote NO, then update should not be implemented.
Lastly, these polls should be set up at least a few weeks (at the most a month of notice to players).
Cheers
