Podded by Buddy in PM

Has anyone else had this happen? My buddy and I were in a battle with another pilot. I got podded and when I looked at my history... it said I was defeated in battle by my buddy!

And yes... I am certain he was on my buddy list, we'd both started new Vega ships to play the new updated system and I only had him as a buddy at the time this happened.

by any chance did ur buddy aggrobomb the enemy with u closeby?

Nope... These were brand new Vega 1300s. Or maybe by then we'd moved up to the 1450.

anything is possible in the pg realms lol

we have this occuring in higher systems more often coz of the splashes from weapons when they critical hit..
aggrobomb and orbstrike are known for this too.. rockets with crit hit can cause this to appear too..

so could be u were standing next to enemy when ur buddy critical hitted him with blaster..
the splash rubs off on you coz u were in the blastzone..

same type of thing is now happening with the repairfield from an engineer..
it repairs everybody.. buddies,non buddies,squadmembers,non squadmembers etc lol
it will be corrected in the future i guess.. till then we gotta live with things like this ^^
