Please add the VERY Basic feature to REMAP the Keyboard

To the Devs of Pirate Galaxy,

Please add the VERY Basic feature to REMAP the Keyboard to the game Pirate Galaxy.

ALL other games web based or stand alone have the VERY basic feature ability to
allow the end user to REMAP the keyboard. I personally cant stand wsad control
keyboard latout and want the keys to be able to remapped to up = up arrow
right = right arrow left = left arrow and stop = back arrow and
Main weapons fire = DEL key missles = insert key.

Its VERY trivial Java code to add to the game .... there are many places to get
the free code .... the only extra development time relate to the User interface
for the key maps btn /keypress selections. There really is not much for adding
this basic functionality that ALL other games have but this one.

I know this is not hard to add to the game ... the question is will it be
added .... ASSUMING that a developer even reads this particular post .....
which from experience from other games I have played,
I know is a real crap shoot at best or otherwise know as "POT LUCK".

I can only hope that I get lucky and a dev actually reads the post and
makes it part of the list for additions and agenda for updates to the game.

Until then I fumble along with the awkard interface layed out as it is.

as far as i know the up arrow and left right down arrows do work in the game

Thanks for the feedback .... yes the arrow keys work however ,,,
junk like the tab all the way to left and the weapon btn top left
drive me bonkers .... I would Remap the space bar and the del key.
The Del key is always used to DELETE the enemy and is closer
to the arrow btns.

I should not have be forced into using a poor keyboard layout mapping when
every other game out there except this one has the ability to remap the
keyboard to the end users liking. Plus its a trivial feature
add ... there is tons of premade java code for it. Its up to the devs IF they even read
these posts .... cuz from what I have seen and learned from all the other games I have
played ... the Devs dont or dont care. I am posting this additional feature request
in the "hope" ( Pot Luck or crap shoot terrible odds vs winning ) that a Dev will see
this and take time to read it and actually ADD the Feature into development cycle
for the game updates.

(Mentioning other games is not allowed please read forum rules on this). allows you to remap ... very similar to this game. so does
star conflict and dark space and Dark Orbit ... All are online games and very similar to
this one. You could say competition for Pirate Galaxy. I love to put eve in here but its
not free to play.

Honestly I dont understand why the game doesn't have this feature considering
what the competition has that this game does not. Does not make sense to me
at all. Anyway thanks for your feedback

other games have weapons and abilities, and the need to keep moving. So there is a need for macros and such. Here you just plant yourself close to your target and 1-8 and click on gravi's.

why dont you just steer with mouse ? thats alot faster for me ^^

Hold right mouse to rotate screen use left mouse to say where to go and target
and u can also use right click for target but dont follow
then u have 1 hand pressing 12345678 and the other for steering
