I was just reading the Pirate Mode: Harassment etc.
I think I have a nice idea to change how it works.
First of all and I think this is the most important thing, you should be able to turn of pirate mode.
The thing I want to add is purple HUD, what is purple HUD?
The PvP equivelant of the red one, the red one is from mantis, the purple one would be for PvP and have 1 big dissadvantage, it takes much longer to loose this purple bar, 60 seconds. But will also have a huge advantage, no more ganging!! How this works? The purple bar will be focused on 1 person that attacked you or that you attacked.
Another thing it does is remove the whole thing from having a red HUD not being able to turn off PM, this wil change to not being able to turn off PM with a purple HUD.
Last of all, the Purple HUD makes mantis ignore you until you attack them yourself.
Small list of changes:
* Purple HUD
- 60 seconds to loose
- PvP
- Only targeted on 1 person, no more ganging
- Turn off PM if you have no Purple HUD
- Mantis ignore until you attack them
The second thing I want is a more fair bounty system and pvp achievement system.
First of all, it will see in which ship you are flying and attacking another ship, Rank 70 ships will only get bounty and achievement points from other Rank 70 ships. It won't stop you from being able to kill low ranks, but just makes it no longer rewarding. Rank 3 ships can also only be attacked by rank 1's or 3's etc. But will get points for killing a rank 10.
Second, your rank is based on your highest level of equipement/ship. If you have rank 12 technology and attack a rank 10 technology, you won't get anything, even if you fly a rank 3 ship and the one with rank 10 tech a rank 10 ship.
Third thing is that you will receive bounty a differant way then now, you won't receive bounty in the begin of the week, but you will need to kill ships from your rank to get warscore, if you both have the same bounty you will receive normal bounty for killing eachother, if the killer has more then the victim it will receive the normal bounty. But if the victim has double bounty, you receive 1.5x his bounty and then going up.
Small list:

- only getting points for same tech level as your opponent
