Ok I have noticed that there are no Pirate Galaxy guides in this forum, I couldn't find any, so I decided to make one. The following guide is aimed at new players, to teach them how to advance through the game without making bad decisions.

So you start in Vega system and I believe you wont have much trouble finishing Vega's story missions (the yellow missions). After Vega, you unlock antares system. Now I understand that you are so curious to see what antares looks like, but dont worry, it wont go, it will be there for you. It is important for you to remain in Vega for some time, and focus on normal missions (white missions) for some time. Yes I know they are too boring, but believe me, they will help you a lot. Focus on finding the best vega blueprints for the ship u have, so the missions are easier. If u unlocked antares, you can go there and upgrade your armor. After you are done with your current ship, make sure to finish all the white missions in vega, or at least the aurora ones as they give good cryonite.

Now that you have made some good cryonite, you can go to antares. Your priority is to find BPs. You might want to ask any high lvl player to help you find BPs, preferably best antares ones, but since you will probably not be able to afford that (a full best antares ship costs at least 12000 cryonite), you might want to look for terasa ones first. While you are getting BPs, you will also gain a lot of experience. Leveling up is easy in Antares and you will be lvl 18 in no ime. REMEMBER, even though you may be able to buy a lvl 18 ship, DO NOT buy one until you have the best BPs and at least 6000 cryonite. When you decide to buy one, DO NOT sell your vega ship. This is one of the most important advice you will get as a pilot, NEVER, I mean never, sell any ship!!!

Ok now that you got your antares ship, please do not rush too much to complete the story missions. Focus on doing whites so you have enough cryonite for the next system. Remember, the next system ship costs 3000 cryonite, and with all the armor upgrades it will be at least 6000 cryonite only for the ship. The best BPs cost about 1500-1700, so you really need cryonite for that system. Doing white missions will help you a lot, but you can also return to Vega and shoot mantis harvesters, they give nice cryonite. So when you see that you have enough cry for Gemini system, you can go there if you completed antares story missions already.

Gemini has lots of new challenges, such as the Death Squads, but by now you must have the experience to advance through it. Only remember to not rush and stay back to complete white missions, or after you acquire a gemini ship you can return to Vega shoot mantis harvesters for cryonite. After Gemini, comes Mizar, which does not bring anything new. As long as you follow my cryonite making guide, you will master Mizar in no time. Sol is not much different, only you will have some trouble in the Moon. By now you should have joined a clan already, and they will help you with the missions. Full equipped lvl 60 sol ship costs about 100k cryonite. You might want to grind in Prosperous or squad up in Molikar with someone else.

Draconis will be a lot of challenge for you. Since Mars and the moon are easy in your lvl 60 ship, you might want to go and finish their white missions before you install any draconis item in your ship (you wont be able to do Sol missions with that). Even by doing so, you will still need a lot of cryonite for your draconis ship. Ask your clan for BP and experience hunting. My advice is to grind in Molikar before you reach lvl 70 so that after you are done all you will have to do is make some exp and unlock the ships. You will need at least 420k for a full deluvian lvl 70 ship. I know it will take a lot of time, you will need a lot of patience for this. Even after you get the ship, you will have a lot of trouble with draconis story missions. Do not try alone, it would be best to ask around for help, only remember, do not be very annoying when asking.

Now, here are a few things to always remember:
-Never try to rush through the game. By rushing I mean try to complete systems as fast as possible. Please, take it slowly, the next system will be there for you, it wont disappear. Do as much white missions as possible before going to the next system

-Never sell any ship!!! Eventually you will need to replace your sold ships for conquest and guess what? It will take you much more cry. If you are so desperate, sell some of the BPs, but never, ever, sell the ship itself. You will only get half of the cry u paid for the ship, but any cry paid for the armors will not be refunded. So do not sell ships.

-The most important, have fun!!! Remember, its just a game, do not take it very seriously.

Green - Cryonite
Blue - Blueprint
Yellow - Story Mission
White - Normal/white mission
Red - IMPORTANT

White missions are not so important. They can point you where to shoot in order to have BPs you need, but the easier way is to go to
http://wiki.pirategalaxy.com/index.php/Pirate_Galaxy_Wiki
or
http://www.prelude.myzen.co.uk/PG/
and to see what Mantis you need to kill in order to get desired BPs.
Also it is better to use Clan to get help in missions, rather than BPs. And by doing missions you get level and cryo. So you don't have to make cryo savings for Gemini when you come to Antares, its absurd.
And I don't understand what you mean "don't be annoying when asking help"

The white missions is shown at the mission panel with White text if they are not done.
You need to do off those first and then will appear new white ones, if there is more.
You are only given pay and xp for the first time you do them.

If someone wants to get achievement for doing all white missions in pirate mode, how he can know which he did and which he didn't, if he did them all already in white normal mode. Now in his mission panel, all white missions are green. If he want to do them all again how he can manage that?
I m asking this only in theory, I m not that crazy to do this complete waste of time.

Now, there are some changes on Prelude webpage. All ships armor is reduced. Can anyone explain that? For example if you click on Armor and Damage simulator, you can see that armor for all ships is not what it used to be and its lower.
I m giving some big ships examples

Ship ///// Previous armor hitpoints ///// Current armor hitpoints
Meta tank ///// 12800 ///// 7693
Meta SDX engineer ///// 9600 ///// 5770
Parsec Terrorizer ///// 12160 ///// 6924
Parsec Storm ///// 12800 ///// 7693
Parsec Dominator ///// 19200 ///// 11540
Ancient Myst ///// 14400 ///// 8640
Ancient Punisher ///// 19200 ///// 11540

Hitpoints measures of all ships are changed, therefore I conclude that this could be different method of armor calculation in place, rather then some changes in armor in game by Splitscreen.

Go to your profile tab, Achievements, and there check out the options, you will find Missions. Done missions there also in green, and what is not are in white.

You have the tab for Missions, and you have a tab for PM Missions.
