If you made an editor for us non developers some of us could could possibly load new maps for you to view edit or use, so we could be helping to do the work for you (for free!). I have quite a few Quake maps (differant game entirely) that i have, in the past 15 years, loaded onto the quake servers. Or possibly make new ships ideas for you to view, edit, or use as well.

but your posting on this idea instead of your own... thats like me posting my log in problems on the random crashing of the game thread... They may be related but they are separated on the forum because they need different threads..defacto said:

Anyway. I am not sure that user made maps would fit with the game.... the devs make them a specific size and shape; maps inported from other programs may not fit the pg requirements.

And you;d have to be sure they didnt mimik a current map too much or it would be the same old thing all over again.

Id Love to see a customise your ship "Editor" in the hangar as this would give a grater freedom of expresion umong pilots (maby not sise adjust but angle of wing nose tail etc pos of weapons on the ship etc)

aye that would be nice, perphaps like 10% of the cost of painting to move a iduviduale ship weapon and the same cost as painting for moving angle of wing nose tail etc.
Btw you should be able to choose the locations/angle of this stuff for half the cost when buying that ship as it isnt built yet.

Oh no no, that would mean we would get overpowered ships. Such as a Tank with Protechtor, Rockets, Shield, and Speed Acuator. The Tank would become a God ship thanks to best armor.
I MIGHT go for it if you had it cost like the same as buying an entire new ship as basically you'd be ripping the ship appart, BUT when you are buying the ship its like 75% cheaper since the ship isnt built yet.
