PG is a great game and the concept it beautiful, the human race in war with the mantis.
But the mantis queen got defeated, and we will be heading for sirius to unreavel the truth.
But I am just missing something,
maybe it should be more advanced / realistic,
THIS Requires a total remake of the storyline!
Hangar Change
The Hangar is currently some kind of technological miracle that can teleport ship particles to what ever base it wants, kinda unrealistic, even with the technology that we have,
So to make the hangar more realistic, we have to adjust that, I would suggest this:
There will be a differance between Your Hangar(s) and all the hangars.
When you start playing the first thing you will notice when you enter the hangar is that there will be limited space for ships if you check the ships. The ship tab will need to change to Hangar, but i will explain later.
The limit of how many ships you can have will be in the beginning 3. Enough for starter ship, anin-1450 and anin-2000. However, you will notice something else, You have to choose your homebase, it's free to choose a new base when you are still in vega, in every other hangar, you will have place for 2 ships, 1 to use and 1 to store, yuo can't expand this hangar. So what you get is:
Home Hangar - with extendeble hangar space
&
Temporary Hangars - with no extenable space
So a temporary hangar can be used to switch ships, however, how do you get a ship from your home hangar? You will get crew available that you have to pay to get a ship to an hangar, there you can pick it up, (switc ship) and let your crew pick up your other ship and place it somewhere else.
I assume that everyone will atleast pick Gemini starbase as home base, as it's also an stargate so you can easily switch, this will give more tactic.
The Extension that you can buy will be:
Normal: 5 Hangar Places
Upgrade 1: 10 Hangar Places - 250 cryonite
U2: 20 Hangar Places - 750 cryonite
U3: 35 Hangar Places - 2000 cryonite
U4: 60 Hangar Places - 5.000 cryonite
U5: 100 Hangar Places - 12.500 cryonite
U6: 200 Hangar Places - 30.000 cryonite
Why would you upgrade?
Well, you will get more ships (and buildings) and some ships take more then 1 place.
New Rank and Abilities
Now I explained a bigger hangar, I will make it even more advanced, here are the new abilities:
Rank shall no longer be calculated like now, but a much more fair system, this will be based on the abilities,
You will get another tab in pilot profile with ranks,
The ranks will no longer be just put together but will be seperated and then calculated together like this:
Kill Rank (normal rank, xp gained from killing mantis)
Mission Rank (first split off from normal xp, this xp is the fair xp that you should get for missions calculated on how many you did)
If my mission rank would be: 50 (500.000xp) and my kill rank: 5 (5.000 xp) then I am rank 55. however there are many more...
I really want this system as even in the new vega system where I was rank 11, I DIDN'T GET ANY XP from aurora missions! Thats insane SS! Got video's to proove ^^.
Ok,that are only two ranks, but I want more, I want these too:
Miner: Based on how many you mine
Transporter: Based on how many you transport and how far it is
Refinery: Based on how many your refinery has refined
Factory: Based on how many and what type of items you made
Escort: Based on how many times you protected a transporter/miner - points are gotten per ambush.
Ambusher: Based on how many succesfull raids you made
Bounty Hunter: Based on how much bounty you received
