Petition for the return of the Event Ships

Don't you hate that feeling where you get on Pirate Galaxy, hear about a new event ship, but when you go to acquire it, it turned out the event it was for just ended a little while ago and it is near impossible to get afterwards? Well I certainly do. To all those who believe that event ships should return as normal rare ships, this thread is for you.

Conditions of the Petition:

The event ships would need to return as rare drops, but would only be acquirable after certain side-quest chains had been completed. Then you would have access to one blueprint of the ship, and then you would have to complete another quest chain for the next. Of course, the quest chains would be the same over and over again, so you would just do them over and over for each blueprint. It would make sense, as the chains would be tough for a tough ship, so it is just logic we are running on here.

I actually hope this petition does not succeed, and the ships are not returned to the game.

Ever since the adoption of a "Blueprints" tab to the shop, and the ability to buy bps for ships from past events with gold was added, ships given out at in a certain event have been non-special, because anyone who wasn't around for the event can still purchase it.

This gives pilots who have played since open beta no ability to differentiate between pilots that have played for 2 months. These event ships, which are no longer available, give these pilots a method of showing that they are veterans: by possessing a special ship.

I think that if we make these ships available again, it takes everything special about they away, accept for the fact that they give the rare ship bonus. The pride of owning one, the image that you are a veteran and have something that is rare and was discontinued, is probably more important to some than just the +25% armour bonus.

Yes, your point is valid, but like I said, the ships would require a LOT of HARD missions to receive. And remember, you would have to do each mission chain enough to receive the required blueprints. So to be honest, for most pilots, it wouldn't be worth the effort to get the ships, because it would be much easier to just keep playing with the standard ships. So if you saw somebody with one of these hard ships, then you would be like "wow" because you would realize just how long it took him to get that ship. So it would still be quite impression-giving on other players to have one.

Not to mention, but WHO, just who, would actually want to spend $150+ on a HyAn Mutilator Parsec? Or even the Disruptor? It's a ripoff.

Hello. You can add me to petition, but i will answer ur question. I have people in my clan and alliance who does like that mate.. You need just some money, that's all... But u should think bout the hard work which ppl who was lookin for this ship earlier, in earlier events needed to do... we need to respect that... only thing they should do is, if u have 1/2 or some of the parts of the ship, they should add it into item shop as bp to buy for gold, but for less money ofc... but only for people, who has some of parts of it, e.g. more than 50% of item...

I would grind my teath off if need be to get them !

Please add drones to ? Same problem ^^ (Including the WorldCupDrones)...

I totaly disagree with you. I am an old player, I am a veteran...
I got sick and had to leave game for more then a year , not your problem I understand...
I missed a lot of possibilities due to my illness, as in get some event ships (and to grind for them), including the drones.
Most veterans now and in the future will not have posibility of getting the rares they missed, unless they pay very very high prices that scare people away and not tie them to the game.

It does state in the pitition that you will have to work hard to get these BPs with strong ships.
Make it solo missions on planets only you can land and you got your problem covered for 90%...

Please if you have all ships dont stop others from getting them to, just because you got lucky and others didnt ^^

I sudgest you write another petition about why players can be in Sirius in 1 month with huge amounts of cry (i cant find). Because thats your issue (and I got the same idea as you, they go way to fast).
Another issue is the events them selfs, as example how does a lvl 25 player get a spanish drone from Draconis ?
