Perception Scrambler On Ancient Armored Ships

It's sometimes useful against units with rockets, when equipped on a dominator with Ancient armor. Can't deflect most sniper blaster shots. Rarely deflects shots fired from multiple high level venar units, especially snipers and strikers.

Scaling down item effectiveness to the current ship level is likely the cause of this issue. Items shouldn't lose effectiveness because they were equipped on lower level ships,or the armor they need isn't available until they complete x amount of missions. Please fix this.

The SB is kinda like the "counter" for the Aim Scram cus of it´s increased hit chance without the need of an Aim PC

Strikers have SB what already explains this + the LC is the in my knowledge now 4th weapon that has an 100% hit chance BUT with the difference that it seem not to have crit chance for some reason (at least i didn´t have seen any crit from an LC so far).

So both items you mentioned have nothing to do with "reduced" effectiveness cus again SB can ignore every Aim scram with an very low chance to miss (around 5% or something around that from my experience) and the LC has always 100% hit chance like the Aggro Bomb, Orbital Strike and Mine where the Aim Scram doesn´t "works" as well.

I go with the factor of reduces effectiveness until you have the corrosponding ship/armor to get the max out of it but not in this mentioned case.

During pve, i've found that most sb shots can miss when fired at a target that's activated scrambler.

Higher level items equipped on an armorless ship shouldn't make those items any less powerful than they actually are. We already have less hit points on ships that we can't buy armor for yet. We shouldn't also lose item effectiveness. Because, we are also using full amount of energy for those items and getting less out of them. But this topic is only about scrambler and how it performs against venar units.

Scrambler is mostly used for reducing weapon hit chances of multiple units and buying enough time to get away from them as a squad or solo. That is not possible with some units on venar in armorless ships.
