now, as i understand it, the parsecs are the ships from the system after sol... my question is, why are they so darn expensive?! ship prices are meant to double every new system, but the parsec ships are 675,400 cryonite, more than 50 times the price of a sol ship. not fair i say!!

The point is, the parsec class isnt very much better as the STAM-R, 2 STAM-R easy beat a parsec.
Like most of u already heard, sol tank has almost same defence as a parsec, but WHY is that Parsec 50 times more expensive for the lil bit armor?

Dont forget any tank will have alot more armour then Storms
And if Sol Tank on its own has a little bit less then the Parsec.. Parsec is Storm class
And the expensive is Parsec was released before some systems.. and was made as i said in a previous post to be a challenge for the players

Parsec is, the Rolls Royce of PG, a rare ship to have. It is a collector item, a challenge for each player to achieve who has been already playing awhile, it is an achievement.
It's not a ship a newbie would achieve with ease as you can also see in it's level requirement.
It is not supposed to be easy for everyone to own one.
There you have the answer why it i expensive. Hope that pleases you, and anyone who has been questioning this.

When will the Parsec class ships be getting their revamp?
For a long time now the information was that when Sol opened the Parsec class ships armor would be upgraded to match that of the next system.
I am one of these expereienced players and have logged many many hours and appoximatly £1,100.00 on this game and i would like to see some of these promised changes come to fruition.
Many of us have spent months grinding away to pass the time waiting for Sol and the new Parsec ships and the upgrade of the class. If this is not going to happen then this year Splitscreen will be £1k out of pocket.
Now this may have changed with the loss of Gamigo from the team. So can we have a final once and for all clarification on this please.
