What a nightmare this quest is,you have 10 mins to set of 4 bombs,before the mantis reinforce the area.
Hmm as i aproach the area 40 plus mantis spawn out the sky and take me apart before i even get close enough to drop the bomb and boost away.

I have tried t boost into the area stop momenterally then continue with boost to drop the bomb,i have tried to boost through and the bomb dont drop,i really dont no what to do next.

I have tried in a group of 2 and more mantis spawn and tear me apart.

If someone else is on the same mission and you both happen to be droping at the same location all mission mantis attack you including the other persons mantis so again i get ripped apart,i have lost so much cry that this mission does not seem worth doing anymore,i will just stay in Mizer as another low lvl noob,you never no maybe one day the devs will rewrite this mission and i will finnish it.Stupid mission.

this mission is VERY hard. What ship are you in? It helps if you are in a tank or stun with a good stun dome.

What I would recommend is timing your ab. As long as you head straight for the point u need to blow up(without your ab on) it should plant if you go through it. AS SOON AS it plants, ab away from the point so the mantis stop chasing you. Then, from a distance, try to target the bomb and scan it (I think you can use the tab button to target it.)

It is a good idea if you have an engineer following you outside the mission. (they are not in your squad) So that you dont get munched by mantis.

If your in a tank, put up your sheild as soon as the mantis start attacking you, if your in a stun, stun dome them all while you plant or stun charge the paralysor so it cannot stun you, which will end in your death.

If not in either, it is still possible, just harder.

Also, I would reccommend that if you die, hyperjump straight back to molikar, as it is still possible to complete the mission.

I finished this solo second try, but died immediately after detonating that fourth bomb! It still completed the mission in my pod though. I finished two Moon SM from my pod as well. I was in a top of the line storm with NO rares.

Not that hard, just get an eng out of squad and it will heal and protect u while ur droping the bomb.The mantis wont shoot the eng and u should have time enough to scan the bomb.

there is another way to do it, but this will probably be patched as soon as I post it.

If you set up a squad in orbit, then start the mission solo and go down to the planet.

Then, go straight back up to orbit and have 4 people join your squad.

Then each person goes to one point but the time limit does not shorten or the amount of mantis does not increase, as it tricks the game into thinking you are solo.
