came on today check out the new update coming next week on test severs

1. u cant use ur ship in the new update because the control all mess up now
2. bps 20 bps to bulid one full bp in sol o my god it take u about 2 to 3 hours to get that bp
3. bp drop lot faster 20 mins in sol to drop a bp off tower rocket on moon
4. block someone ok not bad but sometimes not show on blocklist so u cant unblock them small bug
5. cry drops lot faster yes
6. rare bp yes they in parts to

but u need to fix the controls and the bps to many bps to get full bp

no point help a noob or someone in ur clan get bps as it take u over a hour maybe 3 or more to get one full bp for that person waste time help low players now and clan members because u be to busy try get ur own bps

after this patch gose in i think they be lot of players leave because these update mess up more and more each time a new patch come out

lol after half an hour of trying to get my ship to move where i wanted it to... i gave up, couldn't even get past the sentinals at the LZ on axiom.

what he means is, for example your looking for a normal blue repair droid, you have to find it 20 times before you can use it... and no they dont drop much faster than currently if at all.

the new stearing system is awefull its really bad and with the new loot system LOL (for hives bp you need to find around 24 bp to get it installed !!! )don't know for other planets or system ... 24 !!
i hope the drop rate will be 100 times better !

i agree were ur going with the BPs, u need too many to get 1 full BP, so this could be less like half the amount u need.

I was hoping for a sub-section on the PTR new version but this would seem unlikely.

The introduction of the hover facility has badly affected manoeuvrability. I hate to think how my ship will handle in a r70 assassin/pyro swarm...instapod i would imagine. I have been searching the forum to see how much positive feedback there was for a hover ability. I can remember kniight posted way back asking for this but I seem to recall he got little backing. There was also some discussion in a thread on Engine Shutdown. Namely by players who have long departed. If adding the hover mode is going to seriously affect the manoeuvrability of ships then omit it. We are all used to the game dynamics as they are currently so as the saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Drop rates. Cry drop rate seems up slightly but I do not think it is comensurate still with extortionate bp costs. However, I was unable to actually buy a bp as given the bp drop rate (more to follow) I have not the time to play the PTR for 21 bp parts.

BP drop rate. Using 3 hour elite booster ( and 1st 30 day enhanced) there was no noticeable difference. Currently in-game bp drop rates are flawed given the planet instancing you are on (in my belief). I noticed one in three drop (not that every mantis will drop something as previously stated) wit,h the occasional bp/cry combo drop. Rare bp's. Well who knows how these are now calculated in Draconis and what the % per normal is. Previous rates seem to have gone by-the-by. However, given that it takes (on average and without boosters* when working) anything between 8 hours and 21 hours solid grind to drop a gold then (if we now require 21 parts) one would at least expect to see 1 part per hour. That was not the case on Gazica during my 1.5 hours test. Admittedly I was only killing rocketeers and harvs (which leads me to think their in-game rates have been amended as they were virtually identical). I think more work needs done on the whole bp drop/booster subject anyway.

I would have tested elsewhere but the steering crisis made that impossible.

I am not a doomsayer and I really, really want SS to succeed on this, but if it means delaying the introduction of the new version then do so. Otherwise I, like many, will be tuning out and turning off,

i have all 30 days booster exept fire power and now i'm telling myself why did i spent money on this because everytime i pay for something SS change it and i played on ptr for 2 hours ... one hour on sol where i got a lot of bp's but in draconis i got 2 bps in one hour with best booster on !! so they said the drop rate will be higher when the new loot will be released i say the LIED ... don't tell me it is higher as i got only 2 bloody bp's with best bp booster on ... i've only heard rant about this update... SS shot themselves once with the exessive price of draconis and now it seems that they didn't understand and going to shoot themself a second time i don't even know why i'm writing or posting here because they don't listen to what the players says ... Ss wants more and more money they will soon end with no one to pay .
so plz don't kill this game as its already dying ... 21 gold to build one gold ??? are you kidding me ! i played pg for 1 year and half it used to be a cool game ... i'm really sad that things are going this way ... sorry about ranting i usually don't but i can't take it anymore ... when will the greedy ss stops messing up this game ?

i see they have fixed the orbital strike bug but where is the fix for my full rare draconis storm that onlt does 2 crit shots out of 10 shots with aim pc on????. the crit rate sucks even more so with the price of the rares now and if im close to the mantis im shooting i wont even do a crit shot at all iv got to be far away to get a crit shot, me and 2 gms have tested this and they both agreed it want right so why has it not been sorted?????, its nothing to doi with my connection or pc as pirate galaxy runs like clock work

I have seen a storm in pvp they got good armor and the crit hits help, the sniper is weak with it's armor and if no crit hit

lol it doesnt need a crit hit with os almost 1 shoting you so please dont tell me whats what iv had a full rare draco sniper and iv now got a full rare draco storm so iv not only see them in action iv also used them as well, have you????? i remember hoffy almost killing 4 of us with 1 os so dont tell me it it needs more 2 in 10 shots is crap from a rare aim pc and 2 gms i tested it with agree and the sniper has had a little tweak in its hp as it feels a little stonger now

O_O over 20 bp´s to get 1, on top of having an irratic control of your ship is going to be absolut hell in Draconis not to mension the HIVE.
I must say after trying the PTR my main consern is the controle system, i have already found all the sol bp´s but that is were im at on the PTR so all bp´s are shown already found so i dont now how many you have to find, but over 20 is just a F#$?* joke, im just happy i did not buy the 6 month membership cos if this will go unchanged im going for a different game for sure i just got 50K gold that i will finish and then im gone, cos i am finding it werry hard to fly the ship and not ready to start to learn to fly it again on top of all the other crap that has been put in and is coming to the game.

Serebus has it Spot-on. As does Don W. Since Draconis opened, my enthusiasm has started to wain for this once great game, but i still play mainly because I have met some great people on here and i enjoy their banter and company, But one by one they are leaving PG. This game is no longer the game I started playing long ago and has changed, in my view, for the worse. I used to rush home from work to do CQs (the old style)because they were great. the Clan wars were brilliant too. good fun and a good laugh. but ask me now when was the last time I did a CQ and I honestly cant remember. Truth is, I now play PG out of habit and that aint right. in the past I have ranted about this and that about the game, mainly because I really really enjoyed PG, the players, the arguements, the full nine yards, it was great. and I thought what we said made a differance. I was wrong.
This update, with these changes are coming whether we like it or not and we all know it. so when they do,im with serebus, and when my membership expires, im off. SS has finally sapped my enthusiasm for PG

Agreed. I also think the new updates will be the death of PG. I mean i struggle to a BP's as it is lol, let alone having to collect over 20 of them to actually make a BP. Its pathetic... I started playing this game 2 years ago and the changes through out the game most have failed people have left, some updates were good.. but most were bad.

Instead of updating the game, why dont you concentrate on other things like in sol u have 3 planets not even open??? Whats that about lol?

Pirate Galaxy was voted the best Online game last year.... This year I dont think it will even be suggested lol.

I will be leaving pg if all my online friends leave. Good luck to all who stay

the new loot system well what can i say seems we will all be saying goodbye to pg i try the test server yer i got the 1st bp out of 17 at the lower rank mantis but top no way will i want to sit there and collect 24 or so bps from the mantis on the hive no i dont think so so i can imagine what it would be like for new players that enter a new system and have to find so many bps and try to keep yourself from podding where you loose so much cry this is unfair as not everyone can afford to buy gold they will never be able to succeed as the wont be able to afford bps its a a real shame i have played this game for a long time i never gave up on pg but this time if i loose my friends i have made in this game agan i will leave to i think get rid of this new loot system and stop making it all about money this game is surposed to be fun friendly and free
