new idea for picking up blueprints

my idea for the blueprints is when u scan them there should be a skull next to there name and it will be antimatter green if u already have it or faded grey if you dont to make it easier to figure out what blueprints you have and what ones you dont since you can only see what you have for your ship type.

well see ur still in mizar i belive based on ur level and when u hit sol it gets really hard to know what bps you have especially if ur gonn abuild multiple ships and when ur in squad looking for tech u dont wanna pick bps up u dont need when someone else could use it and in sol alians are like super stingy with bps

I think this is a good idea, I know for a fact I have trouble remembering what bps I have and which I don't.

@ rogue, when I'm in a squad looking for BPS?! I havent gotten in a squad for getting help getting BPs in ages with folks my own level. SInce anteres I've had to slave for BPs dude, seriusly, the only use is if ur in the highest system getting every bp on the planet with friends.

If you ever go to the lower 4 system they are empty as can be.

Sorry for getting upself but that comment just slamed me in the face.

Btw I still dont c the use of it, theres a thing called talkking with squad mates before collecting bps. (and i wish this would apply to rares too cuss I'm getting tired of my rares getting stolen by someone who wont even need them)

ok well I always build 1 ship at a time in a system so that would explain why I have never had this problem. Usally I also take any BP drops unless someone else wants/needs them.

For people like you building a bunch of ships I would agree in saying it might come in handy but personally I doubt I'll ever use/need it.

good idea, it'd also be useful for "finalising" systems, as it is extremely difficult to remember which bps u have out of 1000+ bps without a checklist lol.

lol thats true but those BPs arnt in the same system, again I dont have a personal use and doubt I will soon for this but as seen and said other may be able to use it.

Btw if I get through Draconis before the next system after it comes out I might find some use for this.

when you buy your tank its easy as cake to figure it out mate, buy the ship, look at what tech u got n need, and then kill the highest level mantis that drop those bps on lustra till u got the tech u want.

when im grinding cry and come across a bluprint that i'm not sure if i have or not i'm not going to orbit, go to the hangar, and look at the tank to see every time ^^ ^^

I see plenty of uses. Commander, have u ever bp hunted on a mantis that drops multiple bps like avengers in vega or in a place with a lot of different types of mantis in one place? this would remove a lot of hassle. I would prefer it though if they did it like rares and have the glow change when you have it.

Thats where scanning the Bp comes in handy so you know what it is. Anyways its easy to remeber that tank uses Shield, Taunt (if you wana show off that is), Arrgo-Bomb, and Aim Scram while Storm has... Need I go on? Its not hard to remember what BPs u need and u can always look in shop or your profile to see what BPs you have and have installed.

not if you're flying a different type of ship and trying to get bp's for another different type of ship....remember the shop is ship-specific.

and yes, while scanning is useful it still doesn't negate the fact that you don't know if you have it or not....

also, looking in your bp list in your profile would take forever and by the time you finished the bp would have disappeared lol

two things guys one i do like the glow idea for bp but i doubt they put tht in it would confuse new players too much and btw thx for the support guys now all we need to do is get a gm to look at the post and use it lol

Aye, how about when you scan it if u already have it there will be a Green Skull on the SideBar of the BP Info Scan "Popup" if you already have it and a Red One if you dont have it. That I could go for and I dont see any dis-advantages execpt for idolts who are too lazy to scan and dont care if they need it or not. (I hate it when folks do that to me, no offensce and no picking on anyone but it does get on my nerves)
