Throughout the game, a player has to kill mantis

kill mantis to level
kill mantis for cryonite
kill mantis for getting through missions and into a newer star system

then what?

and it goes on.. point being that mantis do get boring after a long time. The only time you see other enemies are the imperials(which are pretty much mantis) or the noob colonials in axiom(which then turn green).

Also, we need different skill system in this game. for example, rockets will be an all together a different skill than maybe blasters. Aggrobombs will be a different skills than shields. Point being they are all individual, and each ship can be fitted with each of these different parts. Now you maybe thinking that it won't take long to figure out for one person to figure out the best combo and create the ultimate killing machine. No worries! Create a point system and each weapon has an allocated amount of points and a ship can only be filled with weapons that match up to the amount of points that a ship can carry or less. different level weapons also have different points. Each type of weapons have different amount of points. AOE damage weapons have more points than other types of weapons.
*this flexible weapon system only applies to ship slots 5-8 - meaning Blaster, AB, RD and Collectors aren't included.
