Hello all,
Please listen carefully to my next idea that could replace the old BP Upgrading System with something else a bit more fair for all, everyone is gonna have to pay as much as the other and it will take more time to upgrade your bp's, but I think SS can come up with a much longer taking Storyline and more of that so it doesn't become to boring to search stuff. They could also decrease the amout of blueprints needed for this to work or increase the droprate drasticly.
So currently we have to find a blueprint and can choose to skip a bp rank-class. I think thats a big waste of blueprints, but it's hard to change it now as the blueprints also look totally differant (sniper blaster, blaster and rockets).
So I tought how about this:
In sirius you can go for the highest blueprint of the planet, but that will not help you. You first have to find the starting weapon/receive the starting weapon.
With this starting weapon you can start searching blueprints to upgrade it, how this works is like this:
You start with the: Standard Sirius Blaster (Very bad name, SS will never use it, but it's just an example.)
Then you have to find the upgrade for it the:
Upgraded Sirius Blaster .Woohoo, we got this one, you can't buy it, but you can upgrade your Standard Sirius Blaster with it. Maybe they can add 2x^ above eachother in a square like the recycle square. By clicking this you can upgrade your Standard one.
But you are not done yet, there are more upgrades,
Now you are gonna need the Upgraded Upgraded Sirius Blaster, the upgrade from the upgraded blaster. You can't just upgrade your standard blaster with the Upgraded Upgraded Blaster. This way everyone is gonna have to pay the same, and it's better for nature as you don't sell stuff anymore. Yeah for nature!
Now this system could go on and on,
But that would also be boring. They could add an Power Sirius Blaster that upgrades the Standard Sirius Blaster and is as strong as the Upgraded Upgraded Sirius Blaster, but cheaper as you don't have to upgrade your blaster twice.
This way it could become a very diverse system with special upgrades as the Power one and the normal Upgraded ones.
I bet a lot of old players and new players are really gonna hate it, but I think it's more fair for Splitscreen to add this system as it forces people to upgrade their blaster and get all the blueprints instead of just going for the highest rank and then just install that one.
In the real sirius system you could start out with this:
You receive a Standard Sirius Blaster from the citizens, and then you have to find the Upgraded Sirius Blaster from Rank 72 Enemies, however, you are not done yet, then you have to find the Upgraded Upgraded Sirius Blaster from Rank 74 Enemies. And finally you are also able to search for the much harder to find Power Sirius Blaster from Rank 76 Enemies.
So there you have a choice, go for Rank 72 Enemies and 74 Enemies which are much easier, or go search the power one that might require a lot more bp's and is much harder to find, but maybe only 10% more expensive then the Upgraded Sirius Blaster.
