I have had confirmation from Splitscreen that bp trackers are not affected by the new BP drop rate system. An adjustment for the tracker is made after any adjustments are calculated for effort / level differential.
However amplifier modules such as firepower enhancers do affect the effort and subsequently the drop rate. I am assuming that drones which increase firepower will also affect the effort used and subsequently the drop rate as well. I have asked Splitscreen to make this clear to all pilots so they can decide whether or not they wish to purchase and use them.
