I can live (almost) with the recent downgrading of my ship and the now enhanced powers of the Mantis, but what I can't live with is the pan function on the left mouse key. I use the mouse heavily and now that the left button is panning like the right button I end up lurching around like a drunken pirate. During a fight with multiple opponents my P.O.V. gets so skewed it's nearly impossible to fight. Every 5 clicks I have to readjust my P.O.V. and it's making the game virtually unplayable for me.

****Got an update recently and the ability to change the camera pan button came back. Now my only real gripe is that the targeting, especially on C.C., seems to take two to three additional clicks to lock on. I know it isn't my network speed because the green outer targeting lines come up right away, but I have to keep clicking to get a red x lock-on.

No it's not that fault in the link you provided. The same thing is happening to me. I try to click on a target, and it does change the point of view. The right button is used for that, NOT the left. Please fix this as it is very irritating to have to change the POV just so I can see my target.

But I like the intelligent camera. When in a fight with multiple opponents I have got used to being able do a 360 and have my guns on target. With the camera off I have to point to where I'm going, then manually pan around, hoping I don't get shot at before I can target. Making 2 buttons do the same thing seems unnecessary . Flying went a lot smoother with the left button just pointing and the right doing pan and point. I'm a simple guy, my brain really only works well keeping track of 2 vectors at a time.

one of the side effect that you guys with no lag don't encounter is that when you click on something now, your camera turns in the direction the target is heading untill the system reconises that you aren't trying to turn.

Is there any way you can just turn it off by default? I don't know anyone that's ever appreciated that feature, everyone I talk to just thinks its annoying.

EXTREMELY annoying.
