More than 1 Captain in Clan

Hello,

I beleive that having only 1 captain per clan is quite restricting as to control over the clan. Ofcourse 1 admiral makes sense however, having multiple officers and 1 captain is limiting the control as some of the players are in different time zones which means any issues having to be resolved needs to be delayed. I suggest perhaps up to 4 captains per clan is legitimate.

Thoughts?

I thought about posting this, but decided against it as the need for such is extremely limited. Not that I'm against it, but I don't really see a purpose for it either. All Captains can do additionally is mess with alliances (I never got a confirmation on promote officers, is that so also?). I do not see the tasks requiring more than 2 people, if they are the Admiral and Captain they should be active enough to deal with any of these issues.

I do however think there should be a sub-rank below Officer, simply a title that sets them above other members but not to such a position where they can accept or kick people, because that too has limited need and could be abused (I am quite surprised that I haven't yet, actually). It's not to take a glance at rank and see who the people to talk to are. :) Additionally, you could just make ranks entirely custom to the Admiral, 5 slots you can pick the name and a panel of check boxes for what they can and can't do.

You could also take it to the complete extreme where you can chose the title for each rank and the lvl of powers they can have.

Recruit Yes / No
CQ Register Yes / No
CQ Assign Ship Yes / No
Kick Member Yes / No
Edit Alliances Yes / No
Edit Member Profiles and Controls Yes / No


... Just a random idea stolen from another game...

i have seen the idea a lot, and i just like it.

Captain Yes / No

Errr, Admiral would not be an option, and the entire point is ranks are decided by these options, so you wouldn't have ranks it it, it would be a separate selection of options for each rank.

You also need ranks so who can kick or assign who.

My idea was to only limit the officer to pay the cq levy and stuff. I think the kicking and accepting members is up for the captain and since there are more captians and limited to 4, it would be more fluent.
