Miners, Mining and More

I had the idea to add Miners into Pirate Galaxy. They can mine minerals also when you are offline and with minerals you can produce weapons, or maybe weapon parts if the new loot system has that you need a core and a barrel for every gun etc.

First of all, the ships, the Miners, They could be a gold blueprint or just a normal ship.

When ofline you can place the miner somewhere, it turns then into a NPC that will shoot back when attacked. You can only attack an NPC with the same system ship. You can also use it while online but then it uses energy.

The Miner is a long-range collector, It uses energy to mine for a certain ore where you have placed it on.

Mining,

You can mine on planets, You could even make a conquest for mining, which clan gets the most wins.

But mainly it's to make cryonite. You could even make weapons and ships with these minerals. Like if one guy in Pirate Galaxy mines for minerals, another guy buys minerals from him and more people to build a ship. That ship can be bought by players. What would be good if you could also sell ships or refine them back to minerals. The amout of ships into the game is now no longer unlimited but will be limited by the players that make them. If there are really now amout of ships GM's could change the Economy to make it more fair again.

Their can be like a lot of minerals, Titanium, Iron, Gold, Silver, Anti-Matter all this could be a mineral that you can mine. Maybe on one planet you find more Titanium, and on another more Iron. So you get a more real situation.

Well i don't like stupid repeating names, instead they should just put a text line in the description saying which class of ship it is. There; problem solved!

That's a good idea, I like it! Here's an idea that I want to add:
I think each Miner ship should have a new Item called Mining Droid, like an Attack Droid, but it doesnt attack and collects every single cryonite/blueprint for you, they cannot be attacked by mantis since the droids don't attack back.
There should be 2 types of Mining Droids:

Blueprint Miner Droid - Of course, as their name says, they collect blueprints, including rare blueprints. they would be useful if you need a blueprint badly. They stay with you for 10 minutes, and the cooldown is 5 minutes.


Cryonite Miner Droid - Of course, as their name says, they collect cryonite. VERY useful when grinding. They stay with you for 10 minutes, and the cooldown is 5 minutes

Also, you should be able to increase the amount of Miner Droids you have (max 6) and you should also be able to pay cryonite to make them collect things faster(cryonite payment increases every time you upgrade one).

Another item that would be useful for the Miner class is:

Cryonite Searcher - As its name says, it scans the area it has been deployed at for cryonite. A Cryonite Searcher is a small probe-like thing that scans and collects Cryonite from underground. There is no maximum Cryonite for how much they can give you, it depends on where you deploy it, if near harvesters, no doubt that it will give you quite a lot of Cryonite, but if deployed near very weak mantis(like Repogrubs), it will give you low cry. When deployed, it will start scanning its area for Cryonite immediately and will last for 30 minutes, after the 30 minutes are up, the Cryonite that it was able to find, is transferred to the amount of crystals you have. Its cooldown is 1 hour.

The miner ships are not PvP ships so I think the Miner Droid's and the Cryonite Searcher would be useful if you need cryonite and blueprints desperately.

The Idea is good kind of like it, but SSS has sure so much to do, and I am not sure SSS gonna make this idea true.
