Why? You can still use them.

Remember that it's in the terms + conditions that SS can change stuff like that after their wanting - so be happy that you get to keep your membership!

Just take a quick look at the PTR ( Pirategalaxy Test Realm), i did, and got a Nice little surprise, whitch was the new memberships^^ Maybe even Draconis will be there.. Can't wait!

Draconis will not be open Beta for public testing. No new system has ever been.
So you will not find it at PTR.

Yes lance, it opened up to public testing after it had been in a closed Beta testing by the testers who were personally chosen & invited by email to test it.

fair enough. The point is, we are all probably going to test it before we play it. The big warning that a release will be imminent is when it is publically tested. But, as they havent asked people to beta test it yet- i dont think so anyway- then it will still be a while before the release... maybe.

Also, was the earth testing "public testing" or "open beta testing"? I forget the difference between the two.

testers have been chosen for months now and we have been grooming them into proper testers right up till now so that we can get good test reports. We want draconis launch to be as smooth as vega conversion update.

so how is a tester chosen?? Online time? Rank? Positive forum posters? At random (highly unlikely) or "GM mates in GM's clan". Not jealous, just wondering how you manage to test over a broad spectrum of players. never seen a post looking for applicants so I imagine it's not particularly random.
