Maybe it would be fun if you had medals in PG. If you have more then 10 ships you get a fleet medal and if you played the game for more then 40 days you get the Veteran Medal, In your profile you could have them.

Kill Missions:
Planet Problems:
- Vega 1 - kill 100 of all the mantis there, (sentinels, eliminators, harvesters, interceptors and avengers)
- Vega 2 - kill 100 of all the mantis there, (drones and scouts)
- Lyris - kill 100 of all the mantis there, (sentinels, eliminators and marauders, avengers?)
- vega 4 - kill 100 of all the mantis there, (sentinels, marauders, avengers, harversters, interceptors, custodian commanders, marauder commanders, sentinel commanders and menders)
Etc.
System SOS:
- vega - kill 1000 of all the mantis there
- antares - kill 1000 of all the mantis there
- gemini - kill 1000 of all the mantis there
- mizar - kill 1000 of all the mantis there

Maybe, if you completed a certain segment, you got like a reward package?
It would include:
1 custom blueprint
1 custom paintjob
1 new engine color
1 free full energy refill
The harder the medal was, the better the items. Maybe custom blasters? Or maybe my Area of Effect Collectors idea?
And don't forget ingame System Finalizer medals

The medals idea is really good but what about my previous post on awards? When you complete a section, you get an item package based off of the difficulty. A poll from splitscreen should be created on our ideas on whats hardest - best rewards, and whats easiest - worst rewards
The packages could include:
Custom Item Blueprint
Custom Paint Blueprint
Custom Engine Color
50-500gold depending on difficulty
500-5000 energy depending on difficulty
Booster of some kind (maybe cryonite?), it would last 10 hours of online time
And a new pilot profile section, medals. You could display up to 2 medals in next to your name, one on each side, and up to 5 in your custom status.

What about having some really cool awards for the really hard achievments? That would make players get another reason to play when waiting for the next system. Some might be very hard, and take lots of time, but maybe you get a blaster which is better than the best normal... or maybe a free rare...
