massive lagspikes

Hello,

I play this game for 4+ years never had lag and now all of sudden since 2 days ago i can't play becouse game lag crap out of me ??
server shutdown so much lately i dont know what u have done but repair it please !!

i get lag too, but i log out then log back in and that usually clears it up

serious lag spike, i had to close the window and reopen it and got podded while logging back in

At the moment the issues on resolving what is causing these lag spikes is still being investigated. We will keep you posted once we find out more information on this issue & how long a fix will be.

Servers upgraded! Enjoy Pirate Galaxy better than ever

We improved our servers today to make sure you and the huge number of new fans and players in recent weeks can access the game at all times to enjoy Pirate Galaxy around the planet and around the clock.

The upgraded servers are very powerful and reliable, but also very new. So please do bear with us if small hiccups occur while we are tying up any loose knots.

I know you guys at Splitscreen Studios are doing you best to fix the problem.

I encountered such severe lag that i couldn't even land on the moon in Sol and i have the authentication chip to do so.

I hit F5 to refresh page and it wouldn't load up, so i had to restart the computer to get it to load up.

This game is taking the same route as the last game I played. Had a decent following and many supported it. The BIG mistake was their thinking "well they have money invested and will never quit and throw that money away!" WRONG!! Lag as well as not being able to do missions and general gameplay ruined because too much too fast and "well you have to play thru it as we fix it" mentality! I am close to saying buy to this game and going back to my old game. At least they fixed lag and other problems plus gave a month by month subscription instead of 6 mos. Problem with the other was it got sponsors and now wanted to see their return so put more make game more interesting(harder) and have them buy(by means of purchasing ingame cash) the amplifiers and come to find out they lowered all the hps of player ship and raised the non-player difficulty. I hope this isnt the fact here because I noticed 2 weeks not 2 days of lag. I used to get lag after 5-7 hrs of play. Close client relog and continue...now it is constant.

I noticed mt FPS never went over 60 fps..now it is 62 and the drop is to 50 fps..this never happened before.

its now 3 weeks or so,
lag happens on that system where is loads of ppl.

event do lag to vega and sirius 20+ js on same planet its unplayeable.. but on mornings when no one online no lag at all...

can u guys upgrade your servers or something ? this is getting very bad.
i dont think i can play this much longer on this lag not funny at all! sad they not fix this...
just i say, UPGRADE THE SERVER or do what have to do, split the servers if have to don't keep them all in same machine.

Concerning the Lag!

There's seem to be a trend concerning the lag to which i have noticed and being advised of by fellow members,
which is always around 6pm United Kingdom time, the game really kicks in with massive lag,

Since returning to the game I rarely play much after as it's very non productive and too frustrating which is such a shame, I cannot believe that this is down to server load as the servers should be able to cope with ease the few active members,
For the sake of the game and gamers lets hope and pray that PG will and can resolve this -a.s.a.p.......
