Hi,
I was just thinking the other day that having a feature on the map to mark places of interest, like this:

markingmap.jpg

This could be permanently saved, and you could change it at any time. So, what do you think?

Look at this site:

The only prob is that nobody continues the website. If anybody would with the sol planets, it would be great.

Yeah nice I would like to know where all mantis r and stuff like the Name like Pryo= P .
And energy cell= E that would be not just more easy for us hight rank players to remeber but would also help the low rank players to.

maybe this idea could work. but isnt it more intersting on finding for your self where all the E-Fields are i now still go around sol finding e-fields i never knew were there.

as for listing where all the mantis are that would take the fun outta the game. As a pilot new to a planet half the fun is turning a corner and running into a bunch of mantis. and as you get to know the planets you tend to know where they all are anyway. its not like they roam and change location.

and as was posted in this forum there are sites out there that do this for you anyway. so it would be pointless in developing this into the game

if you want to keep an up to date map of the planets then maybe the wiki masters can add this to the wiki page

Then yorkie, how about: the player adds them, like i mean when he opens sidebar, there's a tab called "Mark"

And as the new comer explores the planet, he marks what he sees on his mini map, will make it easier for him to know next time what will be there.

Right?

Maybe the possibility to add by yourself flags, you can choose some flag to target and you will lead to that point.

Yes exactly, like a bar called flags:

Place flag > Name the flag > Flag is now placed and called : Rank 55 harvesters

Current flags:
Rank 55 Harvesters X (Remove)

this?

hi mate I can see what you are saying and I like this idea we are definitely reading from the same page .I also made another comment about perhaps a way point function .I feel there is a lot of scope hear to develope the idea .I also would like to see numbers or something around the grid for pin pointing locations
