Many crashes on Earth

Is it just me or does everyone frequently have game crashing on Earth? For me it is only on Earth, all other planets seem fine. I was on playing Earth maybe an hour last night and I must have crashed about 5 or 6 times and fortunately was not near any mantis so I never got podded. Drunken was with me most of the time and can verify this.

Yes I also have noticed an increase in crashes since yesterdays "hotfix" for this very problem! Looks like the hotfix causes crashes even MORE!! 

Before this last hotfix I hardly ever crashed in the last two weeks. It is not limited to Earth either. But crashing on Earth = you coming back online as a pod!!

Whatever the hotfix was has caused me more crashes than I have had of late anyway. Would be nice to work out why!

Personally I think it has to do with some kind of data error or overload which causes the program to quit. I have found this on other games that allow you to manipulate how the game plays. If you alter certain things to a too high level the whole program crashed! It might be worth considering.

I did notice a couple of times that the crash occurred right when a mantis AB fired up, like a pyro or assassin. Maybe there is something with the mantis AB that triggers it?
