I was totally wrong, pilots... You CAN make lots of cry doing whites.
In fact, I'm doing one white mission - still not completed - in which I've already made 4000 cry!
You probably want to know the secret, don't you?

Okay. Here it is...
First pick the mission in orbit. Then go to the planet surface.
Then go to where the mission marker is.

Then kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill- Collect kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill- Collect kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill- Collect kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill - RECEIVE 1/16th of a blueprint.
Wait. Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait....
Then kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill- Collect kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill- Collect kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill- Collect kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill - RECEIVE ANOTHER 1/16th of a blueprint. Wait. Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait.... Wait....
Then kill kill kill kill..... - Oh you get the picture.

I call this Kill Collect Wait.

There is the Crash Pod option which is totally random. This is where you do kill kill kill for a good hour or two - until you reach 80%. Then the system freezes up - so you crash and get podded - because though you may be off line... the mantis are still killing you. At which point - you may elect to either rescue or mat. It doesn't matter which you choose.
Now spend the next twenty minutes killing mantis.
Pay attention.... Here's the good part.
With luck, right as you kill that last mantis and the bp that represents the final 20% is scanned - you will receive a message that says you've been off line too long and your mission was aborted.

There's also the System Shut Down method of white mission cry acquisition. This is where you start the kill kill kill approximately an hour and a half before shut down. And lose all progress upon shut down - because you failed to allow THREE hours of time to complete one white mission.

Finally, there's the BP Scan method. This is where you employ the same kill kill kill as before, but at random intervals when you press the key E to scan the bp, it totally ejects you from the game.

Well I gotta say, i love this post especially the "kill kill kill kill kill kill" part.

Yes white missions are probably the best option to grind a TON of cry whilst collecting that elusive rare blue print.

they did it with everthing else,

nearly 99% of the players grainding on harvs in lower systems, and they made cryonite, but SS had to change stuff so we have to leave those systems.
