Level Limited Missions?

So I read somewhere or I was just imagining it, but someone said that in later Star Systems their are certain missions that can only be done when your in a specific Level/Rank, Is this true or is it just a lie so that the higher-leveled players discourage me to Level grind?

As far as I know, the answer is NO. You still need to be able to get into the system and usually will require system equipment, so you will need to meet level requirements from that perspective, but as far as a direct level req for a mission, I have never seen or heard of one.

Question also, If I'm only missing the BP's of the Last Common and Rare BP's of the Vega System Collectors should I just opt on saving my Cryo's instead of buying a newer one everytime till I can find the Last one? I'm doing so good so far right now with my current Collector...

Hunt lz sentinels on terasa instead of getting the Storm blasters. They drop tempests, they are strong, and easy to find.

If you are a good enough pilot or have enough patience, you can go directly to the best tech of the system. Exceptions to that are Mizar and Sol since you will need best techs on Baumar to get to Molikar, and will need best techs on Mars to get to Moon, etc. In fact, I took my Vega War Hawk to Lustra and managed to get all the best tech for Antares before flying my Antares class ship. It takes knowing exactly how and where to hunt and a lot of patience, but it can save a good load of cry. Even if you can't get top level, it helps to skip one or two tech levels whenever you can, since you sell back at only half price.

As for the first part of your question, you will generally have just barely enough cry from story missions and what little drops you get on the story missions to get your next ship and equip. You will fall shorter if you are podded a lot, or buy every level tech. The easiest way out of this predicament is to do your white missions. There is a lot of cry to be had there, not to mention you kill enough mantis that you will gain extra levels, and will possibly drop a couple rares to boot. Do your whites so that when you do drop that rare blaster, or rare collector you will have the cry to equip it. Inevitably at some point you will need to just buckle down and grind for cry. Nearly everyone has had to do it at least a couple of times. When you grind, be sure to grind either the harvs or the highest level mantis you can so that you get that XP while at it, kind of like killing two intys with one rocket, so to speak.
