laptop problom

ok on my laptop when i load up pg i get to the log in screen and sighn in get past the news bit and it goes into a slow load and says the server is currenttly offline, (sometimes doesnt even get that far) when i know it isnt becouse i test it on my desktop comp, i have to restart the application atleast 3 times to get it to log on, does anyone know this problom \? why is the laptop saying the server is offline?

^ likewise, me too. Usually I can't get past the 'server is offline' screen (which I know it isn't as on the rare occasions I get to the server select screen all servers are green).

As/when/or if I get to the login screen and server select, it then tells me my link to the server has been lost and further attempts to try get me nowhere (an hour or more of trying). The client was updated recently, but no difference.

This has been going on for weeks, now, and am heartily pi**ed off with the whole thing.
