Lag?

I was having problems with lag on the game, so i restored my computer to its factory default settings with my boot disks. After i did that, i updated the computer and installed 88 updates. I got the newest version of Java and Adobe Flash player, however i still lag whenever i go on planets. It will let me log on, i get 38-45 frames per second in hangars and orbits, but when i go down to the planet, i get 1-5 fps. I don't understand, i'm using the same computer i did before. Any suggestions?

do you have the downloaded version?

btw, I often get around 15fps in orbit and 0-10 on surface. Maybe send a ticket to support with your pc details by using the support stuff in the homepage.

yes i have the client, i tried the browser version and i get the same results. i was playing pirate galaxy on this same computer without lagging just 3 days ago. once i restored it must have deleted some sort of update. Maybe a driver for graphics or something? and that is what i need to know. What i need to update

Unfortunatly issues such as 'lag' is not something that Pirate Galaxy can help you with. This is not a game issue. 'Sometime' lag can be due to a variety of things ie: too many people online at one certain place (Invasions/Events) This also is not something we can stop.

All I can suggest is that yes, you try see if all your computer and it's components are up to date with the right software and keep trying. Lag commonly comes and goes

try to trun on your fan, soem PC got something called Speed fan and it works by typing pc fan... sadly some pc got it, but not many... and the PC fan turns on when your PC is very hot, and when it's on often it's no lag...

Ah m8 its really scully and mulder case. Same thing happened to me around 10.04.2011. and it happened right after fix or update.

-i think that we have to live with these strange kinds of lag as long as the easterevents are running. (ships that are very hard to control in battle and while collecting)

Ah m8 its really scully and mulder case. Same thing happened to me around 10.04.2011. and it happened right after fix or update.

Yes...same here...I started having problems after the last update...in particular random crashes and lag.
I know that this has been noted by many other players,and hope that it will be fixed in the next patch.

Please all players with lag, wait till the Easter event is over, and re-check the occurring lag, if none when that is removed.

I am having huge lags and crashes out of normal, and I am aware of that the Event items ingame is making this lag.

Hopefully your playing will be stabilized after the event is gone. ^^ :mrorange: ^^
