I think that's a nice add-in to the game, because it allows you to be... tactical, if you wish.
For example, consider the following scenario:
- Noob: Crystalwolf, rank 13 Lands on Teresa (I did this, I came, I saw, I owned

)
He pilots a heavy transport. That's it.
- He see's generic mantis foe number one. (Let's assume he's never seen a custodian commander)
- He charges after the commander, when a scan reveals absolutely nothing, maintaining proper distance
until he's suddenly stunned.
- He gets podded. He's frustrated.
My only real reserves are that I've seen a few ego's get deflated by a good podding, so maybe this isn't
the worst thing that could happen

Cocky Man No.1:"HAHAHAHAHA noob, watch me beat it." *Stun* "Lag! AAHHHHHHHHHHH!?!?"
Noob No.1: "

" <suuuuuuuure. lol>
On another note... Defacto's right about the item.name part. I remember it.
I also remember saying "well that's real helpful" out loud.
By the way, Defacto, I've actually thought about what you posted here, and began looking around in-game, scanning whatever enemies I could find. 0.0 Some of the item names are revealed, actually!
Precious few of them, sure... but it leads me to believe that maybe there's another issue.
Why even put "Item.name" there? It sounds more like
programming jargon to me than much else.
Meaning that there could be an error topside.
^_^ Food for thought eh?
