Idea for Balancing Class Mixing

Recently, I have been thinking about ways to balance ship class mixing. I've decided which of the ways are best and posted it here. Enjoy :D :idea: . It's pretty long and comlicated though. :|

Max No.of Class Mix on One ship : 2 different classes (1 offensive,O, storm,tank or sniper) and (1 support,S, engi or stun). All Generics (Item 1,2,3,4) are the same. Rocket is Item 5 because generic 3 is rep droid on all classes exept for storm

OFFENSIVE ships are classes that can use more than 1 form of attacking items. They also include things that affect 1 or more enemies directly (e.g. the Perf help power through an enemy shield)

SUPPORT ships can only have 1 form of attack but have more items that affect enemys without hurting them or affecting players by restoring health or providing protection. (e.g. an Engi's Protect)

Storm Items 5-8 Possible Mixes :
Item 5 : Rocket or Rep Trgt / Rocket or Spd Act.
Item 6 : Aim Cmp. or Prtct. / Aim Cmp. or Stn Chrge.
Item 7 : Perf. or Rep Field / Perf. or Aggro Bcn.
Item 8 : T. Blast or Mat. / T. Blast or Stn Dome

Tank Items 5-8 Possible Mixes :
Item 5 : Shield or Rep Trgt / Shield or Spd Act.
Item 6 : Taunt or Prtct. / Taunt or Stn Chrge.
Item 7 : Aim Scrm. or Rep Fld. / Aim Scrm or Aggro Bcn.
Item 8 : Aggro Bmb. or Mat. / Aggro Bmb. or Stn Dome

Sniper Items 5-8 Possible Mixes :
Item 5 : Snip Blst. or Rep Trgt / Snip Blst. or Spd. Act
Item 6 : Orbit Strk. or Prtct. / Orbit Strk. or Stn Chrge.
Item 7 : Atk Droid. or Rep Fld. / Atk Droid or Aggro Bcn.
Item 8 : Atk. Buff or Mat. / Atk. Buff or Stn Dome

Ways it balances the mix : Because only 1 type of each item slot is possible to place, a person cannot
have the item that goes over its original slot if something is already there. (e.g. a person can't have a rocket and rep target as they both go on slot 5)

-A person can have an Aggro Bomb (Slot 8, O.) and a Rep Field (Slot 7, S.) because 1 is offensive and 1 is support and they dont clash item slots

-A person cannot have a Perf (Slot 7, O.) and a Shield (Slot 5, O.) beacuse they are both offensive items

-A Person cannot have a ThermoBlast (Slot 8, O.) and an AggroBomb :devilish: because they are both offensive items and clash item slots (Slot 8, O.) :devilish:

-An Engi and Stun / Storm, Tank and Sniper cannot mix items. Engis and Stuns are SUPPORT. Storm, Tank and Sniper are OFFENSIVE.

Storm Example :
5- Rep Target
6- Aim Computer
7- Rep Field
8- ThermoBlast

Tank Example :
5- Shield
6- Stun Charge
7- Aggro Beacon
8- Aggro Bomb

Sniper Example :
5- Sniper Blaster
6- Protect
7- Rep Field
8- Attack Buff

UPDATE 16 - 11 - 10 ;) = Sniper Class and Mixes Added (Not sure if items are in right order) and Text Improvment ( Added some info on classing the ships Offensive or Support)

Fun, but it makes some stuff also overpowered.

Stun Charge and Perforator...

the items available are fine, the items themselves just need a slight power alteration.

I like it but I'm disapointed I cant replace my rocket with a shield :mad:

Btw the game will still be balanced even if you can mix all ships with stuff from all ships if you only allow 2 classes of ships to form the cross over and allow use of sniper tech in Sol :mrorange:
