i just been told that i no long can do sol mission with a parsec in sol the parsec is still class rank 50 i had my parsec before sol was out now they say it a rank 70 ship then the old players should be told this before the new update came in i stop play on the askone i play on the usa now but i still come on askone when i feel like it and do some mission with the parsec now i cant

i wud like a head up if they where do this so i could off finish the mission before the update came in i never buy a sol ship because i grind for parsec know i could use that to do sol mission now cant grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

i want it change back as u still only have 2 armor in that sys so u should be still able use it for sol to u buy the 3rd armor after buy the 3 rd arnor then it should be class a rank 70 ship

Yea it's not right. we all know a parsec with no armor is lil better then a mizar ship. Also with thermo it's a 45 and with deluv it's a 60. It should be so that depending on the armor it's a certain calss of ship not jsut changing it to a 70 ship even with no armor.

It was stated before the updates that Parsecs would be Elevated to a Rank 70. They are also the ONLY Ships that you can add Methanoid Armor to. I will check to verify if a Parsec can do Sol Missions & add to this post what I find out

well if r70 parsecs can do sol missions then can i do sol missions in my r70 draconis ship as this is only the FAIR thing to do as splitscreen are always harping on about fairness,you know being fair like giving all parsec class ship owners a chance to fit a 3rd armor to there ship straight away in draconis they didnt have to wait till r70 to fit there 3rd armor did they????? making the sm alot easyer for them yet every other sol ship pilot has to still struggle with only the same 2 armor upgrades. I WILL MAKE THIS CLEAR IF A RANK70 PARSEC CLASS SHIP IS ALLOWED TO DO SOL STORY MISSION THEN IM GOIN TO BE ALLOWED TO DO THE SAME IN MY RANK70 DRACONIS SHIP SIMPLE AS. so stop kissing upto paesec owners and changing the rules to please them, you parsec pilots cant have the best of both worlds you ether want it to be r70 with a 3rd armor or you want it to be r60 with only 2 armors PICK ONE and stick with it or do as we all do and buy another ship

hmmmmmmmmm yes astraeus the parsec got methanoid armor but u cant buy that to u get to the next sys so it should still be class as a sol ship to u buy the new armor

give me a 48 hour on askone i do the earth mission with the parsec then u can change it if i was told that i no long be able to use the parsec to do sol mission i wud had it done ages ago

lol TwistedMetal parsec can only get 2 armor in sol so it should be class as a sol ship till u buy then new armor on after the 3rd armor on the parsec then it a rank 70 ship then u cant use it in the sol sys that the way it should be and u cant get the 3rd armor to u get to the new sys so parsec only got to armor in sol which is the same as a rank 60 ship

well it is CLASSED as a rank 70 to be able to get the 3rd armor in draconis my sol storm is classed as a r60 ship no matter WHAT ARMOR iv got on it. they cant have it both ways plus if i dont put the second armor on my draconis ship does this mean its classed as a r60 sol ship as well???? sorry parsec pilots cant have it both ways its ether r60 or r70 not both

lol in that case if u look at the rank of a parsec it is class as rank 50 and should be able to do sol and dracoins mission like u said buy the armor dosent class as the ship make it it stronger that all

i belive after u buy the 3rd armor then u shouldnt be able to use it for sol mission but u cant get the 3rd armor to u get to next sys wot the point buy a parsec in sol give u the rite to buy 2 armor for ur parsec then get told u cant use it now to u get to the next sys to buy the next armor put it on so u can use it in that sys

m8 u can use ur mizar ship in a sol sys do mission not going last long but u can still do it

parsec is a 50 ship m8 wot the point let u buy 2 armor in the sol sys if u cant use it to do sol mission u cant buy the 3rd armor to u get to next sys so how u get to the next sys if u buy a parsec
to get to the next sys wot so u need to get a sol ship to do story mission if that was the case no one should be a loud do the sol misson with the parsec when sol can out they said u be able do ur sol mission with a parsec when sol come out nuffin change apart from there new armor in the next sys when u buy that it the same as 70 ship

If it is a r70 ship then why is it still sold as a r50 ship? yes the update did say it's going to be a r70 class ship but if it's been changed to a 70 ship then it's only been changed in code and not how we can see to be sure. anyone that wants to buy a parsec right now will still be able to get it at r50 and think just how happy they gonna be when they find out they cant do any sms with it. The system of the ship should be based on it's armor. if it's only going to be as strong as a mizar ship when it has bulk then why even have it useable. It's useless until you get the 3rd armor now.

any word about me get do my mission on earth on askone with my parsec at rite i should have the same rite as all the other parsec holds that used there parsec to do sol mission u can still buy the parsec at rank 50 so should be still class as a 50 ship as for the 3 rd armor u cant get it to u get pass the sol mission so how u get though the sol mission with parsec if u cant use it do story mission.

god i had my parsec long before v1 and v2 to for a parsec it should class by armor u have on ur ship as it the same as a 60 ship with Deluvian and with Methanoid it a rank 70 ship parsec ship should be the only one base on armor not rank as in each sys

if that the case then u should make it the parsec class ships be the ultimate fight ship only bulid for pvp and grind

2 or 3 times stronger than the rank 70 ship but cant be used for mission as for the eng parsec ship make that one bulid for story mission as it crap for pvp lol but gd for story mission just make it the same armor as the new ship that came out for next sys for a eng

Now isn't this just another ridiculous situation. First Players are charged a king's ransom to buy a ship that is little better than a boat anchor. Then when it finally becomes a useful ship, take away its abilities to do missions. The way I see it, Parsec owners have paid the money (and regardrless how you do the math, it's still money in the end) to get the Parsec Class Ship. . . They should be able to use the dang thing anywhere they want regardless of tech, armor, or rank.

In the beginning the Parsec was the initial rip-off of this game. Players spent like 1.2 million cry to buy, armor, and fit a Parsec. And, the Parsec was useless. Every player that bought the original Parsec's was a sucker that wasted his money. And then, when players complained . . . They were told the Parsec was like a novelty to admire upon their shelves or some silly crap. You want to make me pay for a game novelty? Make it something I can actually use as a novelty, like sell me a t-shirt or ballcap that you actually send me. You know, real item, not a virtual thing I can never physically hold. What a croc!

A while after that the Parsec was brought up to standards for certain ranking, but still was not really what the player thought they had bought. My point, the Parsec was intended to generate money for the game makers/managers or whomever. It was never supposed to meet the standard for use UNLESS THE PLAYER SPENT ALOT OF MONEY MAKING IT SO.

Personally, anybody spends that much to buy and fit a ship . . . They should be able to use it to do Vega through Drac missions. I don't even know what the cost is to do a Parsec now, but I am sure it is exorbitant in comparison to other ships. Do you realize that when we were spending 7 to 20k to get a fully outfitted mizar ship, Parsec players were spending 1.2million to by a Mizar Class Ship? In addition, every system they went through, they still had to update their tech. The rank 60 ship starts at about 20k. Where is the fairness in spending as much in buying a Parsec if it gives you no advantage over those paying significantly less.

Although I cannot quote the original description given for the Parsec, . . . I believe it said something to the effect of being able to "dominate" the system it was used in or something like that. It has never actually met the description it was sold as. Thus, Parsec owners have been victims of fraud for a long, long time. It's about time they got what they paid for, a ship that dominates the game regardless of where used.

i wud of left the game long time ago i just want do my story mission in sol with parsec and then buy my new armor but cant get that armor to get to new sys

im going to have to back SS up on this one just for the fact that they gave a heads up that it was going to be a rank 70 ship before draconis came out. this gave players in sol time to either ditch their parsec (which a few have done) or grind for another ship. plus just because you cant do missions with the ship doesnt mean you cant grind with it to get a rank 60 ship. and even though you weren't playing on askone for a while doesnt mean you didnt get the information about the parsec being upgraded to a rank 70 ship.
