Hronblower and Another Alien Race

hello guys me and many another player did have same problem hornblower well first problem is this one
When hornblowe has 50% hp and an commander mantis or something I think attacks it just in 2 shoots it's died and misson fail nto so sure if anyone had this problem.
Hornblowe start attacking everything and later if he can he will go for some more and fail...

Thats makes it easier. He can better be stunned then you.

Very annoying mission
Impossible unless u have unlimited amounts of e.

That mission has no diffiulty its just luck of the draw, time the Ds routes perfectly, get people out of squad to clear normal mantis and the mine fields, then only attack the mantis that attack hornblower

go after the ones he attacks, kill the custodians and rocketeers first, marauders are easy.

well not that but when I had like 95% it did die in 2 shoots by an commander and it had halv hp -.- so will say an 2/4 hp -.-

i used to think it could be done this way but the mission is bugged.
I have tried it over 20 times and the same thing happens.When I kill the rocketeers and only custodians and marauders left,the custadians can kill hornblower in 1 shot even when he has full heath.They can even kill him when his shield is activated.

Well I have tried about 40-50 times in total, but at the beginning I couldnt even do the first wave.Now I can do everything very easy but cant do the last wave one.At least remove the commanders from it.

the last one is very easy can kill every mantis if hornblower do not join the party :/

Bugs dont just get immediately fixed. If there is no ticket on it You will need to send 1 in so the Issue may be tracked. Will get a GM on the Mission asap to try & verify what is going on. Also helps to know which Server & System as well as correct Mission name

Well I did give up on this sm I think I did try it now 100 times not sure but fail nothing has worked me used everyt plan ppl did say to me but in the end I did rememebr if I did self matt would I not have e to do this sm so I need membership... After time am I saying I give up ok guys see you later in some time if this SM gonna get till then Bye guys see you after some times in this sm .

I keep trying it over and over.
It is IMPOSSIBLE!!! I tried it solo, in sq, in sq with all engs, not the smallest chance to do it.

It should be bugged, there is no other way.

if this don't work try with draconis iteam in the ships
but then you get it guys can't be doen with sol if not you got really much luck...

If I cant even kill one mantis with zp blasters and best sol rockets, I wont be able to kill them all before they kill hornblower even if using better items.

To do mission get an engi with you
To do mission get any ship with you

get the ship with you go to target

and get poded

and then do the job

or try to stun hornblower


these are the things I have tryed and many mroe nothing worked for me maybe it will work for you guys thanks ridoi.

It is possible to do this mission, of you know how to work around the problems. Basically, you have to mis-use the programming of the AI.

And there need to be 2 people in the squad. No more no less.

Doesn't take anything away from the fact that Hornblower's AI in this mission is so damn bad, it really is an impossible mission to do the way it should be done.
