how long should it take to load?

I'm sitting looking at the screen and its stuck at 2%... I tried the other games made by splitscreen and it gets stuck at 2%.. I'd like help to figure whats going on and how to get it to work i have played this game before..

also I've updated all my drivers, and i've got the new adobe and java 7

Maybe you tried to login when the daily server reset kicked in?
Are you now able to get into the game?

That could happen if you start it up at restart, though from what you're saying it's more likely that you have zillions of updates piled up. afterthe first time you load it it gets easier, I shouldn't think It could take more than one hour though with all the updates depending on your connection.
