I was on the Korell server, as I have a new low lvl pilot which I use to look at stuff for the wiki...

While I was in orbit of Axiom, I spotted a lvl 50 pilot in an AnIn-1 Dominator, which isnt that odd if he had been grinding forever. I checked his other ships and he also had a Parsec.

I couldn't believe it.... so I read his profile again, He only had 161 kills. (I didn't get a chance to take a screenie at this point, as I already had one for the wiki in the "clipboard")

I opened a chat with him and as soon as I did, he logged out. I then tryed to get his profile back up to take a screenshot but when I used "find" on the buddy list - it didn't find anything. If I had typed his name wrong - I would at least get a pop-up saying "no pilot exists with that name"... Pressing enter after typing his name in just closes the "find" window without bringing up his profile.

He wasn't a GM as his engine trails were "white". Like a clan commanders.

But I have spoken to a GM on the Korell server who also agrees this is very odd. I think the matter is now being dealt with.

I estimate, that is he has those 2 ships at only rank 50, then he must have been grinding on either baumar or in gemini. Or he would have certainly levelled up. To get a fully armoured parsec (i think?) costs around 1.8 million. that means that he would have had to grind 3.6 million, off (at minimum) lvl 42 mantis. in a rank 45 ship. Probable? no. Possible? barely, the amount of time needed to be spent would be at least 300 days+ of game time.

161 kills? I call hacks.

I have also seen a few new people on earth, Although their profiles do not look dubious, I have never seen them around on mars, the moon, or earth. Perhaps it is a name change, but i usually recognise players because in the long grind to rank 60, they are nearly always around earth or (understandibly) asking for help. I also asked around my allies to see if they had seen this guy and they said they hadnt before...

Probably just me, but the first on is definately dodgy, to say the least.

yeah very dodgy..... as you cannot search for the pilots profile.

You goto the "find" button in the buddies list, type in his name, and you get nothing. As i said in my first post, if I had mispelt his name, I would have got the pop-up saying "No pilot exists with that name"... but that doesnt happen, all that happens is the find box disapears and then nothing, no profile pops up.

I once saw a lvl 11 in Gemini, now I know its not the same thing but. if he was staying in orbit and letting a high lvl do all the missions for him he would still get al the cry for them but does he gets the experience of the kills? obviously not or he would be a higher lvl so what you saw must be possible.. mustn't it?
