How do I make a clan?

I've been wondering... How the heck do I make a clan? I would like to have a chance to really take on the conquest-able planets and my current clan doesn't have a conquest ship... so how do I make a clan?

when in orbit of a planet open the side bar [ press space bar ]. In the side bar hit the clan tab button, bottem right is the create clan button, enter the name of your clan and pay 1k cryo

Beware you are not breaking any copyright laws by using copyrighted names for your clan, also check it doesn't break any rules.
