I probably would leave my ship fully loaded, but after questing and grinding, I don't want to have to spam "2" for another few hours.

I like this idea very much, as it also promotes getting off of the computer. Basically it's "Ok I'm running on bingo E, I think I'll take a break for a couple of hours and actually do that homework I've been putting off for a month, while my E regens."

this has already been done in the form of memberships, basicly if you want you e to regen you pay for it. it wouldnt be fair on the paying members that f2p players are getting the same as what some members pay £15 a month for

Hello,

While one may appreciate "e" regeneration, if you are paying membership for it you may feel like you are not getting enough for your dollar/pound. A previous post said the daily regeneration about 7000 per half day. I do not know if that is correct. Regardless, even if it is double that . . . it is still only about an hours play, then you are back buying or collecting "e".

my opinion is that the regeneration should be a % of ur cap..

coz 8 x 6000 and then a regeneration doesnt help a lot
but if ur cap = 1000 x 8 then ur pretty satisfied with 7000 e i guess

high levels want the same satisfaction.. why should a low level have more satisfaction with an elite membership then a high level?

i understand when they "invented" the 8x cap and the 14k for 24 hours regeneration that it worked..
but there were no level60's back then so adjustment is needed imo.

but i dont expect anything.. things are the way they are.

How long anybody lasts with their regenerated e shouldn't be the issue here. It's simple economics...will I get my money's worth or not?

If I buy elite e for 5.500 gold (normal price, not this months celebration rate)I will get 107K e
As a elite member and with my e-cap I get 14K e regenerated a day like sir-vivol said, that means I get e worth 719 gold a day or 21.570 gold for 30 days. Membership costs 16500 gold for 30 days. So I'm getting e worth 5.000 gold for free each month. I say, that's not a bad deal!!

As a footnote: I rounded off some of the numbers used in the above calculations to keep things simple. Actual numbers could varie somewhat.

ok then it's too low imo 14k per day for 50k + cap is not sufficient enough.. and had totally no logic to it.
but on the other side 14k is twice the original cap but that is only satisfieing when ur cap IS 7k..
it gives no satisfaction when ur cap is 50k+..

i would expect they want more ppl to buy memberships so if there is a way to make them more actractive they would like the input.

Any how, hmm, energy Regen is fine I think, the memebershps are doing well in that aspect.

If you have a membership that's giving 2x Experience per kill, 2x Cryonite, Increased drop rate of Blueprints, free customization, increased clan size, increased friends list, increased speed, and there's no Cryonite loss when you die, would it REALLY be unfair to give the free players Offline Energy Regeneration?

Because I for one, hate blue balls.
