Getting hacked!

Most of us spend much time in pirate galaxy, we all try to achieve the best ships and most of us play this game daily

...

...But what if we get hacked? A player who is in sol system is attractive for hackers! Someone gets into your computer and steals all your login ID, It happened to me when I once played another game, an account which I played on for years was gone because someone simply stole all my user ID and even my email to completely steal my account! I didn't know a lot about computers that time and I had no idea how I ever could get my account back, it was just gone...I spended much time and money on it and it was just gone 'FlOoP'!

IT CAN HAPPEN TO ALL OF US!!!

My idea is about inventing a kind of account antihack insurance. Like a gm who has your personal portable phone number or a kind of code you can sms to splitcreen to block your account and give a sign to splitcreen that your account got hacked! Then splitscreen secures your account and gives you enough time to secure your computer!

This is maybe an idea to protect players against hack

Maybe someone has other or better ideas to prevent hack?

The gm's have assured us that the servers are blocked by a invincible 5 meter thick wall of Deluvian Graphite.
But don't give out account info.

Everything thats made by humans can get hacked by humans! They can hack into your computer and watch what you are typing and doing and crack all of your passwords, stars passwords (**********) are no wall to stop a hacker! This happened before to me ;-O

Eh, I lost my Parsec from a hacker, brute force hacking 'twas, no virus' on my computer or anything. Looks like us humans have a deluvian graphite perforators... :/

You can't protect yourself from brute force hacking, you can only slow it down by adding a delay between each password failure.

Actually, you can stop brute force hacking

The only way i found out how to stop it was to try it myself

What you do is simple, just put a space in your password somewhere.

So instead of ********, its **** ****. you cant bruteforce passwords with a space
EDIT: Oh and also, to stop you from being hacked again.. if you can, maybe the GMs can do it, change your username to something different then your pilot name
