Get the old Pirate Galaxy back!!

Since Gamigo is not working anymore on this game. after that came only almost updates to the game.

Before Draconis came online was all perfect except the blueprint drop for draconis.
but WHY?? must be the stupidest update be putted in the game in the whole Pirate Galaxy history?
Splitscreen could better make the blueprint drop higher than make a whole new bp system to get 16 golds for 1 rare in Draconis.
And if there is a new ladder system why? all the gold skulls from all the ppl must be deleted? The old ladder system was much better than the one now. Now its very hard to grind cry because the cry drop get reduced by lower systems if you are in high tech ship. The Draconis ships should not be 105k cry but atleast 39.500 cry. and the bps are also very expesinve. You need now Clan licenses for more space in your clan. You need to pay for to have more places in your buddy list. New vega story came and they are very boring the old vega story missions was funnier and better. Before the mantis could not climb mountains.

The New loot system was not needed the problem was only the bp drop in draconis splitscreen could make the bp drop higher than make a whole new loot system that you need parts for the blueprints.

you should imagine that in Lagrange Singularity star system you maybe will need:

- 25 gold bps for to done 1 rare bp.
- that for the ships maybe you need to pay 350k cry or more.
and imagine the Star systems after lagrange singularity

because the new loot system lot of ppl stopped playing this game. I stopped with this game too for 3 months
but maybe i will leave again because i dont like the game much now.

Splitscreen should let Gamigo work on this game again.... or better give this game to Gamigo because they have better ideas than Splitscreen.

why does no-one know that Gamigo HAS NEVER worked on PG, they only hosted...

I agree that draconis was one of the worst systems ever and still has to be fixed.

I remember Adrana saying something, in evil mode or something about this btw i do not remember, gamigo and Split Screen has gone a port, gamgio are still Pirate Galaxy hosting.

Yes Hefesto is right, and it still host the players who has a Gamigo account in the game, that is all "old" players from before SS taking over.

Just as I said before, this is business, this is not just to do this with them and those, there are so much more involved into this.

If you are an adult, and you are working, you will understand this, for who doesn't here is an example:

2 firms are 1, then they separate cause of different reasons, and there is no going back to what it was.
If 2 firms will go apart, that means their business is also apart, do you think they will go back to be one if there are a few people who will reclaim:
"Oh it was better that time when they were one, please go back and do your business together again, cause I liked it better then."

You really believe that would happen? You think this is just a game, but you actually do not see this is serious business, and serious resolutions are taken to keep it going.

Sadly Adrana is right :/ gamgio, did i not like cus the portal goes to often off, and yeah they gave out free gold when something wrong did happen, but yeha it's business as Adrana said...

This makes me remember when every one that had gamigo and was on the forum was worried to lose all there proggres because gamigo was stopping to host the game..

i have been gone some time and im wondering if ss are thinking of doing something like they did with bp that they moved everyone from bp to ss?

Most of there latest ideas are questionable,

maybe they are good, maybe not, it's hard to say.

I think they just need to hire someone just to keep there ideas playable,

the bp system is good, but the droprate/needed amout is not balanced. Increase droprate or decrease amout needed, don't do like some of the last sentences: "we decreased the number of bp's needed, but you are gonna have fun with you because we decreased the droprate too, HA!"

this person should be there to say: The idea is good, but lets fix it a little.

thats what PG need, small fixes that will improove game play.

Ok Adrana...fair point...this is a serious business...but it no longer gives value for money...if it can't entice cutomers then it isn't a serious business...

I was on the point of renewing my boosters...but prior to that i noticed a few things...

1 go to molikar now...the cry reduction was brought in to stop higher rank players from grinding and closing out spots to lower rank players...well...the higher ranks have gone...and guess what???...no one there.

Blueprint booster...rare blueprints have always been droprate based...as in...the more mantis killed..the more normal bp's dropped...the more chance of a rare...which is fine...but only if people play the game...if i buy a booster now...it means very little...cos no-one plays any more...3 hours on draconis...not one gold...with a booster...don't dare tell me the new loot system is better...a farce

and the easter ships missions??/...smoke and mirrors...just a way for the Company to get Joe Public to buy more boosters/ more e and to use more cry

The game is suffering...wake up and smell the coffee....remember the old days???...when the forum used to show game date with most players on line???...where is that now??...not much point when you are down to double figures

So, my 70 euros spent monthly on PG will now be staying firmly in my pocket for the forseeable future...AND..tell me there is no coincidence between the decline of the game and the takeover by SS as the two seemed to happen around the same time.

And if...as is stated...it was always an SS game and Gamigo were only the hosts...how come playability went out the window??? Was there a change of management/development team/ direction at the same time? Or did Gamigo have some fairly robust guidlines in place for providing a playable, customer friendly game???

all i can say is that it is business and all about money.....no money no business

we all spend money on this game,some little,some big money and SS thinks,make the game difficult,pilots spending more money to get things and SS is happy.....(if the game was mine i did the same )

I think the changes open the way for further tweaking. The new blueprint system certainly leaves room for SS to play with droprates until they reach a something that keeps players happy without making it too easy. As for the decreased drop rates on lower planets I think it might apply better to systems and not individual planets within a system.
