So after i did finally get access to Splits internal Systems i found the latest patch news they wanted to implement yesterday
Gameplay Changes:
General Changes:
Cryonite Farming:
Blueprints and Decryption:
Ships and Armors:
Mission Changes:
Weapon Changes:
Drone Changes:
Quality of Live Changes:
Might be a bit late though but sadly i had no time yesterday for it so with that said have an nice delayed 1st April ^^
Gameplay Changes:
- After revisiting Hitboxes we decided that "fusing" with other ships wasn´t immersive enough so all ships have now proper hitboxes and can collide with each other
- With the addition of Hitboxes each ship has now the ability to deal ram damage.
- Ram damage will hurt the enemy and you at the same time so better watch out not to pod yourself by it
- Ships and enemies that can use an Quantum Leap will with that addition deal a lot of damage due of the instand move
- The bulkier you are the more ram damage you can deal but watch out cus if you use the Afterburner the ram damage will increase as well. So an combination of Quantum Leap + Afterburner can be deadly for both sides. That should give a lot of new ways to play the game
General Changes:
Cryonite Farming:
- After revisiting the behaviour of farming again we decided to remove Cryonite entirely from the game.
- Due of the removal of Cryonite we decided that the selling button has no reason to exist at all anymore and removed it as well.
Blueprints and Decryption:
- Decryption has been removed entirely due of way to much negative Feedback
- In order to balance things out we had to implement another mechanic for Items and upgrading the Ship Armors
- From now on once you have collected all Blueprints of an Item you can install it right away
- Due of the Cryonite removal we had to multiply the required number of BPs by 10
- For ships you have now to collect the number of Blueprints again once you put it in your hangar or upgraded its armor (they didn´t recieve an multiplier though)
Ships and Armors:
- Tau Ceti Ships won´t get a new armor and can still be upgraded to Thermograde armor until we implement the next armor.
- For Parsecs it´s now possible to always upgrade/downgrade them once an armor has been unlocked
Mission Changes:
- With the removal of Cryonite Missions now give Blueprints as reward.
- Kill Missions give a set amount of Blueprints that the target unit can drop.
- Tech Missions give a set amount of the Blueprint you are hunting.
- All Story Missions will give a random ship Blueprint of the System they belong to
- Recompleting a Story Mission will reward you again after completing it again
- Story Missions that only require to fly to another planet/system won´t give another reward after recompleting them for obvious reasons.
Weapon Changes:
- Weapons will now deal damage for each individual shot Shot/Rocket/Sniper that hits the target
- Each Shot/Rocket/Sniper now will have an own calculation for Hit/Miss/Crit to balance things out
- With that addition some ships will have a different way of play due of the new damage calculations.
Drone Changes:
- From now on a ship can use all 6 drones at the same time
- Drones can be increased even further now after they reached Level 5
- In order to upgrade your drones you have to find 10 drone parts that can drop randomly from every enemy unit (0,5% drop chance)
- Interceptors can´t drop any drone parts at all
- When you have the required Drone Parts you can upgrade a Drone to increase it´s max level up to level 10.
- Before you can upgrade your drone again it has to level up first
- As example you can´t upgrade a Drone to level 7 before it reached lvl 6
- If you wanna upgrade a Drone to it´s (new) max potential you need 50 drone parts
- For each Level beyond Level 5 it takes 24 hours until the drone levels up again
Quality of Live Changes:
- Traveling between Planets will now always take 30 seconds
- Hyperjumping will still be usable
- Drones will automaticly refill their Energy-Tanks if a Pilot is in a Energy-Field (no need to manually refill your drones)
- If you now collect a Blueprint that you completed the converted Energy will now fill your drones as well when you have an full Energy-Tank
- If a Pilot enters the Hangar and his ship is damaged a free maintance will be done directly and won´t consume Energy
- With that addition we removed the maintance tab from the Hangar options
Might be a bit late though but sadly i had no time yesterday for it so with that said have an nice delayed 1st April ^^
