NEW FEATURES
- Spaceships can now have multiple "configurations", i.e. you can switch between different sets of equipment.
- Every spaceship in your hangar automatically receives a "base configuration" that contains the ship's current equipment. Change your spaceship's current configuration or add new ones through the CONFIGURATION tab found in any hangar.
- Configurations can be renamed; a configuration's name doubles as the ship's name. This means you now need to rename your current configuration if you want to rename your ship.
- The CONFIGURATION tab combines the functionality of the ITEMS and CUSTOMIZE tabs as well as the top half of the CORTEX PARTS tab; basically, everything relevant to the current spaceship's configuration can be found in CONFIGURATION.
- Drone slots can also be added through the configurations tab. Unused drone slots can be sold again.
- The HANGAR tab combines the functionality of the SHIPS and DRONES tabs, as well as the bottom half of the CORTEX PARTS tab; basically, everything that is not part of the current configuration can be found in HANGAR.
- It is possible to sell configurations including all related items.
- Selling a spaceship is only possible after all its surplus configurations have been sold off before.
- Spaceship and item levels are now being shown to make it easier to prepare and compare configurations.
- Trying to land on a Conquest planet with improper equipment will now yield a message addressing equipment levels.
- Spaceship Armor Overhaul
- Armor upgrades now require a certain pilot rank; the required rank for the next armor upgrade is shown only when it is not yet met by your pilot.
- Armors can now be sold again. They are included in configurations, so you can install different types of armor to the same ship.
- The level of a configuration's armor determines the level of your spaceship configuration.
- Since the effectivity of some items (e.g. Stun Charges) depends on the target's level, keep an eye on ship levels in PvP!
- Added a new armor for Parsec ships called "Ancient Armor". It can be obtained in the Sirius Jump Ship hangar.
- Added Russian translation (a big "Thank You!" to our community translators!)
IMPROVEMENTS
- Spaceship Armor Overhaul
- Armor upgrades have been adjusted so that they no longer alter the ship's color.
- The armor values of Ancient Ships have been raised to better fit the game's difficulty curve.
- Methanoid armor has been strengthened to better fit the game's difficulty curve.
- Parsec sirius armor have been adjusted to match the balance between the draconis ships + methanoid armor and the sirius ships.
- Conquest planet access is now properly tailored to its system's armor level.
- Parsec class ships with Sirius armor are not allowed to participate in the Draconis conquest.
- Parsec class ships with Draconis armor are allowed to participate in the Draconis conquest.
- META-X-Defender & Mantis Defender base armor has been increased to meet its proper rare bonus.
- Removed the ability to purchase armors for Vega ships.
- Reduced armor upgrade purchasing prices for all ships.
- Reduced drone slot purchasing price.
- Ships can now have a second Cortex slot for combining two Cortexes; it is not possible to combine two Cortexes of the same type.
- Ship names are no longer changed in the customizing section; rename your current configuration to change the displayed ship name.
- The pilot rank requirements for purchasing ships have been reduced for all spaceships.
- Adjusted item level restrictions for missions in all star systems to prevent the use of overpowered equipment in missions.
- Several UI stability improvements.
BUGFIXES
- Story missions will now count towards achievements again when they are completed while being part of a squadron.
- Missions completed in Pirate Mode will now also count towards the "normal" mission achievements again.
- Fixed a bug that could render the Sirius mission "Destroy Enemy" uncompletable.
- Fixed an issue that could cause an incorrect camera zoom to be set after a spaceship was switched in hangar or spawned on a planet.
- Fixed spaceship names exceeding 45 characters.
- Fixed incorrect item levels being shown in mission access feedback messages.
