Game Update July 3, 2018

Between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM UTC+2, the game servers will shut down for a new game update to be deployed.

Update Changelog

NEW FEATURES

  • Added two Tau Ceti "kill achievements" for Mantis Custodians & Mantis Resurrectors.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Changes to "Death Squads":
    • The resurrector unit can no longer rematerialize the commander unit.
    • Tau Ceti commander units will call in assistance units once they drop to a specific HP value. The assisting units will join the current death squad. The commander unit can only call for assistance once.
    • Reduced aggro range for all death squad units.
    • When the commander unit is destroyed, remaining death squad units will flee to orbit if they are out of combat.
    • When a commander unit goes back to idle, it will restore its death squad to full force again.
  • Increased landing zone area on Vénar.
  • Added 3 new energy locations on Vénar.
  • Improved visual effects for Orbital Strikes, Aggrobombs and Mines to correctly represent these items' blast ranges.
  • Slightly modified the letter "l" so it can be visually distinguished from the letter "I".
  • Further adjusted Tau Ceti mission "No Mantis Land" to not spawn too many defense units.
  • Replaced Mantis Detonators from Tau Ceti squads with Mantis Strikers.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed a timing issue with the Damage Inverter item that could lead to players using the item being defeated in combat when the Damage Inverter should have saved them. This issue often occurred when players were having relatively low HP.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the display of incorrect level limitation values in mission descriptions for many White Missions in Sirius.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Sirius Imperial Curtius "kill achievement" to mirror the Centurion achievement from the same category. This fix will reset the Curtius achievement progress when it was not yet completed.
  • Fixed several Tau Ceti "kill achievements" that did not properly count defeated units (squad units especially were not properly counted).
  • Fixed an issue that caused the displayed unit level for Tau Ceti "kill missions" to be 1 level short.
  • Fixed an issue that caused completing Tau Ceti story missions to be counted in the Tau Ceti White Missions achievement track.
  • Fixed two minelayer level 85 spawn areas being swapped, resulting in long flying routes for these units until they reached they designated flight path.
  • Minor adjustments to death squad/mender/racetrack paths to avoid having them fly through solid objects/walls.
  • Fixed visual glich that sometimes caused the display of an aggro bomb effect moving towards the player.
  • Fixed that Mender support droids in Tau Ceti are launched from the sky instead from the ground like this is the case on the Mantis Hive planet.
  • Fixed Tau Ceti mission "'Wolf In Sheep's Clothing?" from getting stuck at 75% progress.
