A sum up of things that could be implemented in Pirate Galaxy
Totally not clickbait title

Item crafting
Instead of wasting known blueprints you can use them for crafting or sell them to other players straight away. Crafting requires two things, a blueprint and Materials. All items/ships can be obtained by crafting and searching the required blueprint. If you want special blueprints (strong/rapid/special type of ships) you have to research them. But be warned researching is a dangerous process and has a chance to fail. If you made an item you can store it in your hanger or sell it to a player for some quick cryonite depending on how much they want to pay for it :).

1. Blueprints
Blueprints have to be acquired as we get them and you only require 1 bp for each item. But keep in mind if you want to make more then one blaster for one of other ships you have to find the blueprint again! The blueprint gets consumed if you craft the item. If you want an "gold" item/ship you have find the gold blueprint or buy it from another player. After you found/bought the golden blueprint you have to construct the item/ship with materials. Gold ships or items cannot be bought on the market and are only obtained by crafting it. Strong / rapid items or parsec class ships can be acquired by researching the standard variant of them. But its a gamble game and researching might destroy all the items and materials you put in it.

2. Materials
Materials can drop from mantis, see materials as a rare cryonite drop. Occasionally mantis drop materials. each starsystem has it own unique types of materials. Higher system items still require players to return to lower lvl systems for systemspecific materials (chance for lower players to meet higher players). Materials can also be sold and bought on the market for cryonite. Each system has a set of changing missions that you can do to hunt materials. Gathering them in squads will grant more benefit (current benefit system).

A market/trading
In the middle of all star systems there will be a system where all traders will gather. A tradehub where every1 comes to sell their gathered or constructed items. Selling directly to a player will allow for better sell prices or better buy prices. If you want quick cash you can sell it to the stock market. It will always give you a steady income based on what item you sell. There will also be a npc market hub that sells items for a maybe overpriced amount of cry.

The stock market will have all standard weapons for sale. Only the special kinds (Gold, strong rapid and gold/parsec ships) are not available. They can be bought from other players or be constructed after finding/researching its blueprint.

Death penalty
In order to make pvp a bit economic viable for non-payers, atleast that is what i am trying to reach in some sort of way. Okey here is my idea.. Instead of losing 2k cry upon podding, your ships items get damaged. They will have 50% less effectiveness until you repair to full health. After 1 minute the items will be automatically restored to full functionality (1 min waiting timer before you can jump on ppl again, or have a engi heal you). You can keep flying with damaged items, but if you die a second time within 1 min one of you items gets critical damaged and cannot be used until it has been repaired in the hanger. A repair cost will you a certain amount of materials or cry depending on the item his lvl. You can purchase a protector with gold (see it as cry protector) to prevent ur items from sustaining critical damage.

Or just no cryloss on death but a timer of 1 min easypeasy.

Bounty hunting
If a player wants to fight another player he has to put down a amount of cry depeding on his lvl. If a lvl 85 player turns red he has to pay 850 cryonite in advance. This will lead into a bounty of 850 cry on his head. If he gets podded by another player the 850 bounty/cry gets transferred to the wallet of the winner. but the winner now gets an aditional 850 bounty on his head. If he gets podded by another player he losses the amount of cry/bounty he collected. Each time you turn red you have to pay 850 cry and get 850 bounty on your head. This might to situations where ppl have 50k bounty on their head. At the end of the week the bounty gets payed out and can no longer be obtained by other players

Ships passive ability's
Each ship type will have some added benefits in PVE (!!! not pvp !!!) according to its function. Il start with naming the 4 basic ships, the other ones can be described in a later session :)
This is meant to spice up the pve gameplay a bit.

1. storm
After a storm class ship goes out of combat he generates a charge. His first used item will have 200% damage. each time he leaves combat mode this charge replenishes.
2. Tank
After a tank class ship goes out of combat he generates a % passive shield that can tank a few incoming shots. Each time he leaves combat mode this charge replenishes.
3. Stunner
When a stunner class ship leaves combat he generates additional speed up to 30%. Giving this ship excellent skill at flying across the map.
4. Engineer
When a engineer class ship goes out of combat he will slowly heal all nearby ships that are also out of combat back to full health without costing energy.

Clanstations
Each clan will have its own clanhanger see it as a jumpship. Within that hanger you can fly around in your ship and trade with your clanmates no matter where they are in the starsystem. Each clanmember will get his own locker where he can store his items and ships. There will also be a clanbased market where players can put items for sale for special prices.

A clanstation can be upgraded. Admirals and captains can use clangatherd resources to upgrade the material refinery and research lab. Allowing items to be made with less materials and have a better chance on succeeding your research.

Hiring pirates Little Helpers
Fighting mantis is always tricky especially for the times that you are all by your self. You can hire a npc gang to shoot with you and get rid of those nasty mantis.

Ambush the mantis transports!
The mantis harversters are grinding without any rest! We may not let this happen!! We could destroy the harversters or be smart and let them do the work for us! I've spotted some mantis cargo ships transporting the collected cry from the harvesters to the secret stash of the mantis queen. We must ambush the transportship to gain unheard of amounts of cry! Pack up your arms this will not be a easy fight. We need a squadron of atleast five people for the highest guarded routes! Who knows what we will encounter!

Cryonite refiner under attack!
Arkon is to time consuming and the rewards are not quite rewarding for the time spend :p. How about a fastpaste arkon game like where you have to defend a cryonite refinery. The longer you and your squad survives the more cry you get rewarded!! (other means of grinding)

Ur own character
Look at a game like "league of legends", they dont have energy cost on items or something like that but they make money off the appearance of your character. And loads of money. Maybe this game could spy a bit and take some of those things. I want some visual appearance that actually separates me from the croud or just to show off. Things that i am thinking of now:

1. Engine trails
Different purchaseable types of engine trails. Rainbowtrail, fireworkstrail etc etc
2. Blaster projectiles/colours
Rainbowblaster, fireworksblaster, heartblaster, skullblaster, circleblaster etc etc.
3. Skins
Maybe some small variation of the ship. Or more different types of alloys, golden alloy rainbowalloy, Starshipalloy etc
4. Emotes
Maybe some sort of dance, some things that you can express feelings without having to chat. Or just some voices that say words for you at the press of a button. Like age of empires in chat xD
5. Choose from different types of blasters
Maybe u want a vega looking blaster with the strength of a sirius blaster on your puni just because the vega one looks better from your opinion.

Gifting
No more words need to be said, i want to gift some special ppl membership or something else in a better way then just handing them over moneys. Birthday presents.

I mentioned this before, but i'd definitely like to see Mizar Sniper tech and Mizar/Sol Defender tech appear more often in the shop.
Some players need those tech to complete their ships, and it is fairly annoying to wait for the necessary tech to become available. Those tech available on events like the Easter event can stay as is, but just sell them directly more often.

I love your idea of bounty hunter would make PVP more fun big thumbs up on that one :D
