fly your own ship

Hey
Why we need 2 fly in system ship for missiom
Its much fun 2 fly your owne ship 2 do Story mission's
I understand that we need alow 2 help litte player's
but if you Upgade squadron for it.
Example
I i wanne fly in my owne >Germini ship<
In Antares system for Sm than we can do it solo
But if you Make a ship than it diseble solo ship
than it wil activete system ship/tech.
you what i mean?.

So you mean mantis gets stronger the higher rank equipment you have? If not it might be unfair as you can then easilly get achievements by using you stronger ships, witch is unfair for players with the correct ship rank and equip
