Well, the way I see it at the moment is SS doesn't need to make anything better as long as ppl will continue to give them money for products and services that they think are not worth it. If you want to get their attention, you MUST stop buying their stuff. You giving them your money for what you feel are sub-standard products only makes them think they are doing good enough to continue to do more of the same. I have owned a business before and I know that as long as I am making money, I will continue to do what I have always done. I guess the next logical step would be to ask everyone who is complaining, how much worse do you think it needs to get before you can break your spending addiction to the game? Would you stop giving them your money if they doubled all of the prices and kept the same level of services or would you keep buying and just complain louder? As far as speed is concerned, I personally think there are scaling factors between Vega and Sol that you are not taking into account. Take a Vega 1 and Moon comparison for example. The Moon is way way larger than Vega 1. So, to fly across Vega 1 might take 2-3 minutes, it will take 10 minutes on the Moon. This can happen and still have the same scaled speed. Some might be due to the physical size of the ship. I know that in real life, if you drive a smaller car, lower to the ground, it appears that you are going faster than if you drive a larger vehicle or are further off the ground. If you don't think so, try going 50 mph in your car, then get in a go-kart (your butt 2" off the ground) and drive the same speed. You will feel like you are going twice as fast in the go-kart than in the car. Your camera angle will no doubt also affect your perceived speed. Just some things to consider ...lance said:
