Event: Solaria Pod Fest

Event time: 12 noon CST - GMT -6
Class/Gear: Antares Ship/Gear & Vega Ship/Gear - No System Rares

Event description: This is a free for all event. All players participating must have pirate mode on or it will turn on automatically when entering Vega 3 Planet. All mantis types will be spawned throughout the planet. Each player will get 5 lives. After 5th time destroyed, player is then disqualified / out of event.

Players will fight all mantis and all other players. Last player destroyed for 5th time is winner.

Player with least amount of deaths is winner:

Player with second least amount of deaths is 2nd place:

Player with third least amount of deaths is 3rd place:

1st place: Enhanced 30 day blueprint booster + untimate energy charge
2nd place: Standard 30 day blueprint booster + elite energy charge
3rd place: Standard 30 day blueprint booster

Winner will also be given the title of Solaria Pod Fest King
Note: There will be No Gold Substitution for any Rewards

as we seen on the last a event some poeple after they killed about 4 they turn there pm off to the end of the event

not sure about Player with least amount of deaths is winner

if u going to do that u need atleast a gm in orbit to make sure that they dont stay in orbit for more than a min as anyone can get 2nd place by just sit in orbit not doing anything

These kind of events are always monitored by at least one GM and they are very capable here on Solaria.

I believe that the player with the least deaths would be the winner if their was a tie break situation where the players could not kill each other (seen this before).

How boring is this gonna be now... no system rares and limiting to Antares max!! I have enough rares on standard ships to take down any competitor, however Kienengel came close

ppl grind hard to get the rare ships and i think they should be allowed to use them in these events else ppl with the rare rokets and aim comp and perf for example could kill someone in a shot and a rocket if they critical hit so the noobs (sorry for the term) wont stand a chance let them have the extra protection they need from the rare ships.

well now i know i will not be taking part in this event as im proud that i got my rares and am not gonna pay to change them just for this event and then have to pay to put them back on my ship or i have to buy yet another ship and equip it for this, now thats what i call a total waste of my time and hard earned cry

Does the no system rares go for ships only or does that include tech and ship? If it is for tech and ship then I can see no one taking part of this since it costs a LOT of cry to equip a new ship with tech and armour. Even if you just install the tech its going to cost a bundle so maybe make it where you can have rare tech but no rare ships.
